We Arise

How can someone get to a state of learned helplessness? We go through life utilizing resources to get ourselves out of a harmful situation but what about those people who have used resources but found no solution. They were stuck in that state of harm or trauma unable to get out. Eventually the person may get out of the trauma or harmful situation but their minds are still in that place of trauma. How can we acknowledge, validate, and empower those to help them overcome? If there’s denial, they may not see that their situation did have an impact on them.

“Faking it til we make it” will only take us so far. Why not allow ourselves to be real, transparent, vulnerable with ourselves and others so that we can experience something different. When we fake it, we are not being true to ourselves. We become double minded like a tug of war within ourselves of who we are and who we want to become. What is our foundation? What will sustain us? What will allow us to climb our destiny? Is it through kind, nice words to ourselves? Is it through looking like we are capable and confident? Or is it taking a step back and becoming transparent with ourselves so that we can see what is holding us back? Join us for our 1st episode of We Arise.
