Tonight’s episode of We Can Help with Dave & Woody moves from the serious to the downright bizarre—as only Dave & Woody can.

The guys open with a difficult subject involving recent accusations connected to the Sigma Chi chapter at Penn State. As proud Sigma Chi alumni, Dave and Woody discuss the disappointment that comes when the alleged actions of a few cast a shadow over an entire brotherhood, while emphasizing the importance of allowing the legal process to run its course.

More importantly, the conversation becomes a broader discussion about character, accountability and recruitment. Dave argues that fraternity recruitment should never become simply a numbers game. The Jordan Standard, Sigma Chi Creed and the principles upon which the Fraternity was founded should remain at the center of deciding who is invited into the brotherhood. Membership carries an obligation to those who came before—and to those who will wear the letters long after today's undergraduates have graduated. 

From there, things become considerably more Dave & Woody. Woody delivers some unexpected tennis-ball trivia—including why they're yellow—before the guys explore one of the strangest chapters in medical history: the 18th-century practice of using tobacco smoke enemas in attempts to revive drowning victims, and its oft-repeated connection to the expression “blowing smoke up your ass.”

Then it's time for What Am I Drinking?, where Dave mixes a Perfect Old Fashioned using Old Forester 100 Proof and Old Forester Perfect Old Fashioned Syrup—a simple, home-bar-friendly approach to one of America's classic cocktails.

The Life Loyal series begins with Sigma Chi alumnus and entrepreneur Jeff Borysiewicz, founder of Corona Cigar Company, Florida Sun Grown Tobacco Farm, and FSG Beef. 

Jeff joins Dave & Woody to reflect on how his undergraduate Sigma Chi experience at UCF helped shape the relationships, confidence, work ethic, and leadership skills that followed him throughout his life. What began as an 18-year-old looking for friendship and independence became a lifelong connection to a diverse group of brothers—and an early lesson in the importance of surrounding yourself with good people.

The conversation moves from fraternity life to entrepreneurship as Jeff shares his philosophy of pursuing opportunities rather than simply taking risks, building businesses that don't require the owner to make every decision, and empowering employees to operate according to clear principles.

He also discusses balancing business and family, involving his sons in his work from an early age, and why hands-on experience remains one of life's best teachers.

In the Life Loyal lightning round, Jeff talks cigars, bourbon, business books, undergraduate memories—including the infamous “Sig the Pig”—and offers a wonderfully simple definition of success: being able to sleep well at night with a clear conscience.

Ultimately, the conversation comes back to legacy. Jeff challenges today's undergraduates to recognize that they are temporary stewards of something much larger than themselves and reminds alumni that lifelong brotherhood carries with it a responsibility to mentor, volunteer, serve, and pass along the values they inherited.

The Dave & Woody Summer Tour: One Chapter at a Time For the milestone 150th episode of We Can Help with Dave & Woody, the Summer Tour heads to Bradley University to visit the Delta Rho Chapter of Sigma Chi.
