There are strange things afoot at the Circle K. It's no secret that Brett and Dylan both absolutely love this movie. They spend most of the episode going over their favorite moments and gushing about how and why they love it so much. The amazing performances of the historical characters, the meticulous attention to detail, and of course, the charm and sincerity of our two leads, Bill and Ted. If you don't like Bill and Ted Excellent, then you are straight-up wrong. Be on the right side of history. Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

Keanu stars as the titular Prince of Pennsylvania in this weird indie dramedy from 1988 about a young teen who kidnaps his dad in order to receive a hefty ransom. It's like Fargo, except with the guy from Tremors (the one who isn't Kevin Bacon). There's not a ton of to love about this movie, but maybe our Lord and Savior, Keanu can save it?

This week, Brett and Dylan continue doing Keanu with 1988s Permanent Record. What they thought was going to be a cheesy after-school special-esque teen drama, ended up being a surprising and touching reflection on tragedy. Brett and Dylan touch on some great characterizations, an amazing performance by Keanu, and a script that shows compassion and respect to all the characters with realistic and engaging dialogue. Permanent Record will undoubtedly go down as an all-timer in the We Do Keanu cannon.
