Those of the Orthodox Faith know that the Chalice used for the Divine Liturgy is an important vessel.  We would treat it when not used with respect (we would never use it for anything else other than to hold the Holy Eucharist).

Today, September 1st is the first day of a New Ecclesiastical (Church) Year.  What better way to begin a New Church Year than by bringing someone into the Sacramental Life of the Faith!!!
