We Have Thoughts!

The Wire is still regarded as one the greatest TV shows of all time, and we finally watched it! We learned why it's called The Wire, jammed to its very 2004 soundtrack, and decided Lance Reddick was born to play a cop.

Have you seen The Wire? Is it in fact the greatest TV show of all time? Tell us what you think, and while you're at it, go ahead and subscribe to us on iTunes, and leave a review!

#OscarsSoMexican

We laughed, we cried, we screamed, and we cried some more. The Oscars this year did a great job of honoring the past 90 years of history, while still blazing into a future that is inclusive!

Check out our thoughts on the night! Let us know what you think! Were shocked by some of the winner? We're over on twitter @wehavethoughts3

After last week’s great Criminal Minds episode we are back talking about the British sitcom Miranda. It was a barrel of laughs, we all really enjoyed it and Joy and Crystal might actually start watching it on the regular. Also if you like people going in and out of accents then this is the episode is for you.

Any other funny British shows y'all like? Let us know!

Gimme, gimme, gimme your thoughts.

This is 9 of 9 in our Conversation with Oscar series which means we're here, we did it, we finally watched all the best picture nominees! In this episode we discuss Darkest Hour. It was a great companion piece to Dunkirk that was beautifully shot and we all more or less enjoyed it.

We also rank all the movies and give our final thoughts before the ceremony.

Let us know what you think!

This is episode 8 of 9 in our Conversations with Oscar series. We're almost at the finish line you guys! In this episode we're talking about The Post. It may not be favored to win on Sunday, but we all really enjoyed the movie…the theatre, not so much.

We're days away from The Oscars, what are you guys thinking? What is the most heated race? Will The Post win either of its nominations? Let us know!

This is episode 7 of 9 of our Conversations with Oscar series, and we're talking about the final performance of Daniel Day-Lewis. Phantom Thread wasn't our cup of tea…some of us may have even fallen asleep in the theater. The music was beautiful, the costumes were impeccable, and the story was strange.

We're getting closer to the big day, and we're just two movies away from having seen all of the best picture nominees! We can't wait to see who wins. Let us know what you're thinking. We're @wehavethoughts3 on Twitter.

This is episode 6 of 9 in our Conversations with Oscar series, and we've finally saw this seasons front runner. We had some mixed feelings about this film, but we all agree that its not our personal front runner.

What do you think? Does it deserve all the praise it's getting? Will Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell take home trophies? Does this stand a chance without a Best Director nomination?

P.S. Are you watching Queer Eye? Are you in love like Ana and Joy are?

Tell us what you think! @wehavethoughts3

This is episode 5 of 9 in our Conversations with Oscar series and this time we're talking about Lady Bird. Greta Gerwig's directorial feature film debut changed the game for a few of us. This film impacted all of us, but each a little differently. This near perfect film led us to a discussion on religion, family dynamics, and the pain of growing up. If you haven't already, go see this movie.

Let us know what you think of Lady Bird! Does it have a chance in any of the categories it is nominated in? Tell us over on twitter @wehavethoughts3

This week we watched an episode of The Handmaid's Tale, and now we're depressed…BUT HAVE NO FEAR, CANADA IS HERE! We're a little sleepy this week, it's been a long hard week for The Roomies, so we apologize for if we're not as excited as we usually are. Also, there may be some screaming at the end. Fair warning, pull out your headphones for the last 20 seconds or so.

Did you watch the first season The Handmaid's Tale? Are you ready for season 2? Do you have a doomsday plan, and can we come with you? Let us know over on twitter. @wehavethoughts3

TURN AROUND! Every now and then we sit down and watch a very boring episode of TV. This was one of those times. We all agreed we probably just drew a dud of an episode, but we were thoroughly unimpressed by this particular episode of TURN. Is the show as a whole good? We'll probably never know.

Are you a fan of TURN? Also why is it capitalized? Let us know on twitter. @wehavethoughts3
