The Wire is still regarded as one the greatest TV shows of all time, and we finally watched it! We learned why it's called The Wire, jammed to its very 2004 soundtrack, and decided Lance Reddick was born to play a cop.

After last week’s great Criminal Minds episode we are back talking about the British sitcom Miranda. It was a barrel of laughs, we all really enjoyed it and Joy and Crystal might actually start watching it on the regular. Also if you like people going in and out of accents then this is the episode is for you.

This is 9 of 9 in our Conversation with Oscar series which means we're here, we did it, we finally watched all the best picture nominees! In this episode we discuss Darkest Hour. It was a great companion piece to Dunkirk that was beautifully shot and we all more or less enjoyed it.

This is episode 6 of 9 in our Conversations with Oscar series, and we've finally saw this seasons front runner. We had some mixed feelings about this film, but we all agree that its not our personal front runner.

This is episode 5 of 9 in our Conversations with Oscar series and this time we're talking about Lady Bird. Greta Gerwig's directorial feature film debut changed the game for a few of us. This film impacted all of us, but each a little differently. This near perfect film led us to a discussion on religion, family dynamics, and the pain of growing up. This week we watched an episode of The Handmaid's Tale, and now we're depressed…BUT HAVE NO FEAR, CANADA IS HERE! We're a little sleepy this week, it's been a long hard week for The Roomies, so we apologize for if we're not as excited as we usually are. Also, there may be some screaming at the end. Fair warning, pull out your headphones for the last 20 seconds or so.

TURN AROUND! Every now and then we sit down and watch a very boring episode of TV. This was one of those times. We all agreed we probably just drew a dud of an episode, but we were thoroughly unimpressed by this particular episode of TURN. Is the show as a whole good? We'll probably never know.
