It’s that time again; the WKTRS Podcast presents Birthday Boozecast! Live from David’s 18th birthday party. The drinks are flowing as David & Liam are joined by the hosts of The Robert & James Show and they discuss their new podcast and Robert’s strange feelings towards old people. Cut and bruised, but not as much as expected, David & Liam have returned with stories from Robert’s paintballing party. A full day event, from half seven in the morning onwards, the sleepy hosts make their way there in different cars and have different stories of the banter (or lack thereof) during the journey. David & Liam are met with warnings of scams, liability forms and many opportunities to make idiots of themselves. David starts a war with a woman and are at each other’s throat the entire day, with him ultimately losing out, so takes the time to have his say on the matter. Not your most competitive types, the hosts find themselves bantering whilst getting shot at and get comfortable behind cover. However, they constantly run out of paintballs, get shot at and even find a opportunity to do some Rambo style killing. The news stories this week involves a man spending a lot of time in a garden shed and another crazy Japanese festival. After a hard days paintballing the gang get together to have some banter and some booze at Liam’s pad. David gets asked to go get a ps3 from down the road and is having none of it whilst Liam and James try to get a hold of the Missing In Action Robert, who gets there...eventually. TV entertained the group as they enjoyed watching a woman getting punched in the face during X Factor and get upset watching a Top 50 list on MTV. With David now officially a student and Liam still enjoying his holidays this episode of the WKTRS podcast begins with David and Liam attempting to keep their maturity as they face some corrections and accusations of exaggeration from a friend. After an uneventful interview, David starts his first day at college and faces plenty of standing around, name botching, primary school moments, being chased after and tries to stay calm whilst his face is being squished by a computer. The news segments this week feature a woman carrying out a festive myth in September and an interesting method of financing an electoral campaign in Venezuela. There is a follow-up to the highly argued case of Steven Slater, the man well known for jumping out of an emergency exit on a plane a few weeks ago. Birthday party season has begun with David & Liam attending a go-karting party for Boozecast guest James. David makes an unbelievable blunder in his attempt at getting a birthday present and is constantly harassed on the phone; James makes crazy efforts to save a few pounds on a taxi and Liam gets offered a three wheel car – even before they arrive at the race track! Very important information is relayed to them via a video showing the correct step-by-step method to sit down in a seat and what dozens of different coloured flags mean. David crashes spectacularly and fails at reading graphs while Liam gets attacked with a screwdriver. The party continues at pizza hut where an individual pizza is shared and the price of coke discussed in great length. As all good parties do it ended with a few drunken people in a house discussing anything and everything they wanted. The news stories this week lead to this show title and a man is made unhappy by a traffic warden. Liam gets asked if he is a musician, if he wants a beer, if he has a girlfriend, if his friend has a girlfriend, if he is straight among many other pressing questions and Liam gets very involved with their shenanigans. The news stories this week include strippers outside a church and someone being paid to streak. David has been called up for jury service the day after his 18th birthday and goes on a rant about his inability to do so.
