  • Ornamenting Your Insecurities πŸŽ„

Happy Holidays from We Might Be Wrong! This week we borrowed the concept of decorating for the holidays and flipped it. We are discussing what it looks like when people decorate and ornament themselves as a means of self-aggrandizement - in other words, to promote oneself as powerful or important with the use of talents, materials, and other people as cover-ups.

In this episode, we talk about what it means to be self-aggrandizing, the kinds of things we tend to use to make ourselves appear as something we are not, and the dangers of doing so. We also share practical tips for working through low self-esteem and the necessity of coming to terms with the things you don't like about yourself.

As always, thank you for tuning in and supporting the show. Don't be selfish this holiday season - share what you learn with your friends. And we want to hear your feedback, so please email us to share your questions, comments, opinions, and suggestions. We welcome it all!

  • When Being Considerate Goes Wrong

Welcome back! And if you're new, welcome! This week we discuss the too frequent phenomenon of blocking your own blessings by means of thinking for other people. We share our experiences with this bad habit and we cover how being too considerate can hinder your growth, the hidden reasons you sell yourself short, and the unfortunate difference between diamond sweaters and glassmakers. Tune in to this one to find out what can happen when you actually start walking in your truth and sharing what you have to offer.

As always, your support and engagement means everything to us. Share what you think with a friend, and if you'd like to become a part of these conversations, email us or send us a message on Instagram. • Why Your Relationship Might Fail

Thanks to a wonderful question we received this week, we are talking about protecting your energy from that of others - specifically friends and romantic partners. In this episode we cover the importance of setting boundaries, knowing your WHYs for the things that you want in life, and why your first relationship might not have worked out. Tune in to learn how to not lose yourself in a relationship and how to tell your friend to stop dragging you into their messy relationship. Good vibes only, right?

We hope you enjoy this one, and we thank you for sticking with us while we are unable to record together. Can you even tell the difference? Let us know in an email! And while you're there, feel free to send us a question, tell us off, or make a suggestion for the next episode topic. Thanks for listening!

  • Why Your Thanksgiving Sucked

We're grateful that even though we couldn't be together to record this for you all, we found a way to make it work. This week we discuss what it means to be grateful and how your expression of gratitude may be incomplete. We cover what gratitude looks like in action, how far one must go to show how grateful they truly are, and the non-fitness reason Lonnie has for waking up at 4am to run 4 miles.

We share why we don't treat all subjects of our gratitude the same and how to cope with a family that you may not get along with during this holiday season. Enjoy!

As always, please email us to share your opinions, thoughts, and suggestions about the show. And if you know someone who needs to hear this, please share it with them.

  • "Winners Never Quit"...WRONG!

We Might Be Wrong hooks up with fan favorite, Ryan Wilson. The last time we met we discussed entrepreneurship. This time, we talk about quitting. And this episode is spilling over with perspective.

Listen to this episode to hear our thoughts on quitting your "dream job", quitting your job as a means to get better at your job, and giving yourself permission to quit. We also cover the importance of calculating risks and preparing accordingly, knowing when you should quit, and how your ego gets in your way.

It was a wonderful conversation and we're happy to be sharing it with you. If you find yourself joining the conversation from where you're listening, then please email us and share your thoughts. All opinions are welcome; all thoughts are appreciated. Look below for contact information for the podcast and for our special, now two-time guest, Ryan.

  • We're Quitting For Mental Health Reasons

We thoroughly enjoyed this conversation about mental well-being and emotional management. E was just getting his voice back in this one and still showed up to take part in a wonderful open conversation.

We share our experiences with anxiety and depression, how to become friends with your emotions (even the "bad" ones), and our thoughts about the seemingly growing trend to have a mental illness. We know you'll find some value in this one, but if we're wrong, send us an email and let us know! Also, follow our new Instagram page. Contact info below!

  • Wrong If You Do, Wrong If You Don't

This week we discuss what it means to be moral and to act with integrity. Who get's to decide what's right or wrong? Why do homosexuals take a harsher beating than fornicators? Is morality dependent on what society says is okay? We explore these questions and more.

As always, we hope you enjoy this episode! And whether you do or don't, we want to hear your side of things. So, if you want to share your opinion of this episode or have topic suggestions/questions for our next one, please email us at [email protected]. • Who Are You, And Who Cares?

We take the podcast outdoors to have a conversation with Jeremy Koonce about art and its role in society. We discuss what we think art is, who is responsible for how we behave on social media, and how people were cancelled in the 15th century.

We also cover how we create music and when we should censor artists. This conversation was definitely one of our favorites and you can tell.

As always, thanks for listening and sharing. If you disagreed with us, thought we were interesting, hated the topic, or just want to ask a question, please email us at [email protected]. We really want you to be a part of our conversations and look forward to what you have to say.

  • Part 2: Am I a Full Human?

In the second half of our discussion about human rights and privileges we talk about what it means to be privileged, who's to blame for women posting "cheek pics", and why we think people are allowed to be prejudiced.

We'd love to hear what you have to say about this episode and what you'd like us to cover in the next one. To become apart of our conversations, email us at [email protected]. As always, thanks for tuning in. See you next Monday!

  • Part 1: How to Bulletproof Yourself Against Hate

This week we meet in the place that began it all (if you don't know where I'm talking about, check out my IG @lb.evolving) to discuss why we think people are prejudice to the point of violence, how to protect yourself from hate, the ongoing trauma contest, and we invite homophobic racists to speak with us.

As always, we hope you get something from this episode, and if you enjoy it, grow from it, question it, or absolutely hate it, please email us at [email protected] to let us know. Thanks for tuning in!
