First, Babbu & Scam report back after enjoying a long Presidents Day weekend in Jersey City. Fact finding mission.

Also, Babbu & Scam read polls. They wanted to understand them. They asked Steve Koczela to come on to explain them. He also holds off everyone who wants him in a guillotine for a very early Massachusetts 7th primary poll. You know, the one that had Capuano up 13 points.

He entered the Poll Thunderdome. Only one can come out, he was it.

Babbu & Scam had "Fidel" on, one of Babbu's old college friends and a admitted capitalist/auditor of the corporations.

He explains the plot of the Big Short, how New Jersey is a great place to live but you're nickel and dimed for everything, his latin heritage/growing up then and now, and how Scam could never move there because of a fear of crowds.

Capitalism is hard. It doesn't get easier.

Babbu & Scam realized it's Black History Month so they better get into the thiccness of blackness with "Desmond Guyle", a hard nosed real brother they have known since Nat Turner revolted.

What originally meant to be a discussion of race in Boston turned into race in America. And how Scamwell looks like Edward Brooke, R-Massachusetts. Good grief.

Also, African Americans are still worth only eight dollars in Boston. That needle hasn't changed for a year.

Scamwell & Babbu remember when school was important but didn't care how it was funded during recess or Field Days.

That's changed a bit at their older ages.

They invited Kristin Johnson, a local BPS parent and advocate to give them the heads up on schools in Boston and Jersey City, what a Foundational Budget is all about, and providing voice for the voiceless.

Bak to school the boys go, and came away with a lot more than they thought.

Babbu & Scam are back everyone and invited David J. Goodwin of Jersey City on to discuss his book Left Bank of The Hudson: Jersey City & The Artists of 111 1st Street.

A great discussion on the subject of gentrification, development, urban planning, and the political powers that be in our respective metropolitan areas; this is finally when #bospoli and #JerseyCity complete it's convergence.

So we called Grace Holley, your local housing activist, where we called out all the haters and losers of our current domicile crisis. A breath of fresh air from all the policy wonk talk Marty Walsh will give you, there are real problems here so we aired them all out.

Three housing musketeers coming to your rescue before rent is due Saturday. How nice.

Former Secretary of Transportation and current TransitMatters board member Jim Aloisi came by to set some things straight about Election Day, Massachusetts & New Jersey politics, and of course what this could mean for public transportation short/long term.

More often than not, we laughed at Geoff Diehl. It was fun while it lasted!
