  • WPI 2022_87 (SUGARBRIDGE/LANDWATER)

87 isn't just a number. Its not a prime number. 87 in the 20th century is in all actuality the genesis of WPI. Direct and indirect forces of human nature and circumstance brought forth the entities of 2 opposing objects that neither would be able to get out of the way of. The collision caused a bond beyond meta physics or quantum dynamics and out of that bond came an existence of brotherhood that has been tested, questioned, and more than anything outlasted many of other similar natural combinations/relations. Sugarland, TX, Bridgwater, and A Boy From Wichita at that time formed a universe that is still being traveled through as well as discovering how far and much there is to it. You all are welcome!

In this episode of We Play It Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) and BK (The Original Sugarland Kid, The Authentic Black Stick Shift Original Nissan Sentra Drive'n, The Superb Dialogue Exchanger To Young Women Everywhere) reminisce and stroll comfortably down nostalgia lane. With perfect selections of quality musical creations, the left and right chairs of WPI intersect in a position to where they 1st met as well as when the foundation of solidarity between them was formed. It can not be written more than it already has, what is being shared in the episodes and especially this episode contains a value so immense that the true worth will never be fully known or understood. Enjoy these shows and enjoy the fellaz bringing them to surface as much as they do if not even more. We Play It appreciates it! Thanx!

Give props and respect to where props and respect are due. One can only look back so many times before one realizes that view doesn't and won't change. It's the view ahead that is wide open to look and be anything one wants. It is very important to remember where one came from but it is even more important to understand where one is and ultimately where one wants to go. It's like this = Let go of the past * Hold onto the present * Reach for the future = What defines us is always and only momentarily for life is the true currency of our existence. Forever moving perpetually and changing constantly. Words will land but they never truly stick unless one lets them or wants them to. Really, how does one define change? And what one word could and would truly define it? Elections, Holidays, and The Good Ole Season------ stay away from the labels. Good luck! Oh! If all else fails, WPI is right here. Always....

In this episode of We Play It BK (Sometimes he dances and some times he don't- He can rock plaids, argyle, stripes, polka dots, and/or tie-dye- If you see him sleeping with one eye opened best believe the other is closed and awake) and Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) take the episode all the way back to the true Midwest. Dead center in the plains of America. Kansas! The biggest city in its south is Wichita. A very interesting place during the mid 80's and maybe even now.  Tornadoes, Dorothy, The Wizard of whatever, and anything or nothing else could stop this show from happening. These gentlemen laced their sneakers up real tight and made sure to chant "There's no place like We Play It! There's no place like We Play It!" Got damn it! They are right. See for yourselves. Go ahead. Thanx!

  • WPI 2022_85 (SYMBIOTIC)

It doesn't take much to know when something is right. It doesn't take long to be completely sure of the first sentence immediately after. Some times souls split before they actually tear apart. The worse kind of pain there is can't be defined or controlled or labeled. A destiny so lost and soft that it doesn't even exist. A tapered sadness left without options or knowledge of hope's human condition. Symbiotic signs are all around. WPI is all around. Find the good reasons to do instead losing the sorry excuses to not do anything at all. The songs are set, are Spotify Heroes are in their seats, and Caught is being played to start the show....   Join in on the tune. Together is always better! It's time.......

In the episode of We Play It, Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) and BK (The Sturdy Captain of Chocolate Love and Desperation) slide into the meat and potatoes of a working cohesive set list and veg upon perfect listenings of the musical type. They are cleaner, They are more fine tuned, they are clearer, and most importantly they are back and plan on staying for good. The two brothers in a room. A room of sharing. A room of melodies and sounds and all things arranged in notes. When it goes together or when it comes together or when it takes shape or when it completely and simply works as is because it is-------that, our dear friends, is SYMBIOTIC. Take a listen and see for yourself. 'Tis the season!

The Olympics! Run it all backwards and run it to the fuk'n ground. The city of lost angels shined bright in 84. Carl Lewis, gold medals, and the I-5/405. The years are sliding away as they should and do. The gentlemen of We Play It are in their birth zones. So much is going on but the same is all in regular rotation. #Breech  The groove is quick to position itself. Find your beat and situate yourself appropriately so. WPI is a go!

In this episode of We Play It BK (The Inside Out Sun Tan-Brick By Cement Stack'n-Left Pinky Toe Re-Attach'n-Long Live The Insane Rubik's Octagon Solve'n) and Adui Yako (The Wide Nose Bandit) reverse the style of attack on the people from back to front. Sly bastards! You have to watch their hold hands at all times. The tricks are truly within the shade with these clever goonz. This episode glides and soars just like all the others. The music hits, the mood is set, and sweet ear magic is displayed. Mucho gracias, mi amigos! Mucho! Tune in and Hear out.....

Are you an artist?  Do you create art or take part in a hobby?  Is there a difference between Erykah Badu and Beyonce?  Or a difference between Taylor Swift and Bjork?  Is there?  Which one is the artist or are they both artists in their own right?  The questions come w/no end in sight.  Where are the answers?  A sight yet to even kind of appear or reveal itself.  The ultimate human drama set in a sea of crisis and the totality of living will only equal or amount to the fact that in most cases the healing is actually way worse than the wound itself.  Kilen Rahsaan Barrett The Born 3rd, I love you and we love you!  The titles w/in the playlist say all that needs to and can be said.  WPI is bound!  To understanding and a future where time and life are truly valued and are unconditionally worthy due to life....  Y so serious???????

In this episode of We Play It Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) and BK (The Milk of Magnesia King, The Derelict Messiah, The Orange is The Old Brown Diplomat, and The Gentle Persuasion-ist w/Full Mental Stranglehold) run through another gauntlet of serious vibes in the form of tunes and melodies set for only the purist of ears to indulge and find themselves privy to.  Some births are more than others just like some deaths are less than others.  These men aim to please in WPI fashion and style.  3rd born or not, this episode is for all.  Please take a listen &/or a view.  They would like to thank you in advance for your participation.  Paz!

  • WPI 2022_82 (The Water Dog)

The Chinese New Year. Lunar vs. Gregorian. Julian as opposed to Lunar. When the new year starts can be fixed or it is already established due to the moon and it's position in the sky? Time the ultimate illusion. Let the Church decide or is it a decision already in process by nature? 1982 is and was a time of usual human existence and happenings. WPI was alive but not yet active. Music came from land and water and songs barked like the warning from a dog. Listen carefully to this fine show and see if you can remember your time whether you were there or not. Music puts us perfectly in time's rightful place. Embellish it!

In this episode of We Play It BK (The Overstuffed Potato of Sweet Cream Butter and Chives) and Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) start with a fresh new set of downs as Fall approaches with no slow down in sight. Summer made its mark but now bring forth the shorter days and longer nights. Freaks or not the season favors position. Let the music play is a lyric from a dope ass song in the 80's so that's exactly what these 2 incredibly gifted eared gentlemen plan to do. Join them or not but know that without any doubts WPI respects the zodiac. May fortune always protect The Water Dog. 82 ways and all. Peace!

  • WPI 2022_81 (EightyOne = Kobe/Raptors/History)

81 points. The Toronto Raptors. History was made. The accolades, the compliments, the stats, and etc. seem to go on and on for days if not years when it comes to Kobe Bryant. He gave what he did and he gave it all every time he did it. That's a rare breed, class, and/or cut no doubt. When you are here even though you are not, that says something to WPI about character and a man's history, longevity, and over all accomplishments. This is episode 81 of We Play It and they like to think that what they are giving is in the same category as a Kobe or a Jordan or a Iverson but more importantly they hope like Kobe what is done and left will continue to be even when they may not be anymore... We can't thank all of our supporters- YOU ALL- and everyone that has had a hand within any aspect of what we do and will continue to do as long as possible.

In this episode of We Play It Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) and BK (4eva'Rep'n H-Town Everythang The Icicle Works Iron On Patch On The BackPack Sport'n 2Ankles 2Knees Body Scan Failing) connect the dots, water paint by the numbers, and simply stay in the lines to what is past and what is future only to share all of it right now in the present. Right in this episode. The intersections of time and space collide naturally between these two and they aren't afraid to share and to let it be known through multiple tracks and continuous harmony. So much fun equals too much fun which is highly impossible and illogical to these two. Check'em out and flow into 81 from front to back and top to bottom. Step Up to WPI!

  • WPI 2022_79 (Dying Disco)

When the end is near one has to hope that what will be left behind will transcend and flourish for eternities and more there after. One has to be content with the partnerships, the sweat, the sacrifices, the struggles, the defeats, the misery, the jubilation, the beginning, the middle, and the end of all that was laid forth and mentally and visually able to look back at. On the left and right of WPI sit two fascinating gentlemen that know without a doubt that in their end as long as they have set side by side there can be no regret and no sweeter way to go. They have shared the sand in the hour glass as well as this episode called Dying Disco!

In this episode of We Play It Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) and BK (The Teflon Prom Don From The Pre-Summer of 86 No Promises No Trix) hydroplane back into their usual positions and spots. They both have seen the 70's and are very much proud of their foundation built blockade decade rearing in. It was a gentle and rich era of maturity and freakishly unchained inhibitions. When what was left apparently had to go, what would come ultimately meant one of the 70's greatest gifts would also----Dying Disco! Do not be fooled by their freakishly smooth wrinkle free skin or their apparent clamp-like grasp on things current in events, culture, art, music, and most things socially forthwith. These old bastards are slippery as hell when wet and drier than any desert known to Earth. There is no in between with these 2. Just sweet sweet experience. Experience them now if you want. They will surely appreciate it! We Play It!

  • WPI 2022_80 (DANCE & DEATH...The 80s, Yo!)

It's here and it's mutha fuk'n on! It took a minute but the hour and change has finally arrived and not a second too early or a day too late. 80 eps. in and still muth'n fuk'n tick'n! What?!? They said it wouldn't be done. They said it can't be done. They said they'll never do it. They said they don't even know what they are doing. They said there is no way this goes past 3 eps. They said all of that and then some. Wtf are they going to say now?!? What are they saying now?!? Huh? Hmmmm...???? Oh.... Oh! Let me guess... Not a mutha fuk'n thang. That's what "They" are saying right now... Silence of the crabs. Man let's go! Welcome to the WPI Tempest. (BK, I figured it out. That's the arcade game. You are welcome!!)

In this episode of We Play It BK (The Boogalu Master of Plaster and Funkologist of Break Prance'n) and Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) morph into 2 blinding quasars shooting straight for Earth's atmosphere. They are returning to where they were from being where they already went. It's not just confusing to read but to follow as well. Luckily one doesn't need to be concerned nor worried. Get into this 80th episode and color by the numbers or follow the dots or trace the picture already shown, it's easier than breathing and more fun than a birthday, the 4th of July, Christmas day, and New Year's Eve all on the same day at the same damn time. You wanna make a bet? Welcome to WPI's DANCE & DEATH (The 80's Yo'!). All and any parachute pants welcome. Also welcome are cardboard boxes flat, all Michaels and Princes, basketball and football dynasties, fuk Reagan-Donkeynomics (Honkey-nomics if you push hard) & Crack, and a serious welcome to all boom boxes and shoulder held camcorders! • WPI 2022_78 (Unqualified Realism)

What are we if not one another and anyone and everyone else like us? The only difference is everything. The foundation is the same for all. Clean air, clean water, food, and a place to live... This is the true human condition and the only conditioning truly that is..... What future? Archaic, pragmatic, and inertia all jumbled up and fused in. Go get it. Get whatever it is you need. Why not? One breath, a few rings, solar systems, and black holes giving the business to those that want it. WPI for life! The quality is real... Serious!

In this episode of We Play It BK (The Man-Angel Half Feet Half Wings Thermal Nucleus Pajama Material Finder Shot Out The Dark But Gave Love Its Only Good Name) and Adui Yako (AY The Wide Nose Bandit) untie the laces to shoes warn too tight metaphorically as well as literally. These 2 specimens angle into the casting rods being tugged and yanked in hopes of what may lie at the end of their hooks. No booty here, young world, no, ma'am or sir. It's not ok to eat fish just because they don't have any feelings. The only thing in this show's way is not showing it.  Well, that won't be the case. We are showing it because they did it and now you can see it. Anyone can see it. Anyone can do it. Anyone! It doesn't get anymore unqualifiedly real than that. Or does it? Anyways, enjoy, good people....
