We Should Do This Again Sometime with Kat & Marc

For our 20th episode, we welcome Handsome Bane of ILAPOW acclaim. Errick Greenlee is the Dick Wolf to our Benson and Stabler. The trio explores the Spike Lee classics “She’s Gotta Have It,” “Malcolm X” and “Do The Right Thing.” They play America’s favorite game FMK, debate Rosie Perez vs Big Lez, and examine iconic Spike characters.

Also, Kat destroys the childhood memories of millions and Marc worships at the mantle that is 90’s Arnold Schwarzenegger. Alright everyone… chill.

They chop it up over the wildness that is “Monster,” the beauty that is “Eve’s Bayou” and the greatness that is “Booksmart.” Also, what’s to make of Charlize Theron career? Where’s Christina Ricci? Why do birds sing so gay? (If you get that reference, Marc will be your friend in the old folk’s home.)

In this week’s episode, Kat and Marc cover the beginnings of Sofia Coppola’s then-promising career, while navigating massive problematic landmines in the process. Speaking of problematic, HBO’s “Girls” and switching the R’s and L’s. This was one L of a ride.

In this week’s episode, Marcus takes a stroll down memory lane (queue the boing sound fx), Kat speaks from the heart and the movies of Wes Anderson are discussed and enjoyed. Well, most of them are enjoyed.
