Corey Boland is a Director, Producer, Wedding Filmmaker, and Photographer in Detroit, MI. I've known Corey for about 3 years now and have seen firsthand his transition from having a full-time job as physical therapist and doing his creative stuff on the side, to being a full-time creative for the past 6 months. We chat as always about the importance of community, but Corey adds a unique spin to the conversation in that his work mostly involves collaborating with other creatives, something that I am not good at. Spoiler alert: he convinces me how beneficial that it can be. Ryan Dyar is a full-time landscape photographer and instructor who in his own words is "a chubby man-child from the Seattle, Wa area who points cameras at stuff." We chat about a lot of things, like what it really means to be a full time landscape photographer (hint: it's not as glamorous as "influencers" make it seem), how Ryan got his start in the industry, as well as how he found his way to becoming  (in my words, not his) one of the more prolific post-processors of the digital era, and how awesome it is to be in community with other photographers who share your interests.
