This I AM has a dual meaning as it is both Individual and Universal. In scripture we see Jesus saying: I am the light to the world. No one who follows me stumbles around in the darkness. We all remember how God was revealed to Moses as the amazing I AM.

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Here Jesus is referring to the heavenly birth, which means being born into the knowledge of Truth. He refers to this as being born of water and Spirit. The symbol of water is used to express the idea of complete immersion in Spirit. As water flows in and around, so we are immersed in an everlasting Spirit which flows around, in, and through us. To be immersed in water symbolizes our recognition that we are surrounded by pure Spirit.

In this three-part Podcast of the Prodigal Son, the father and the two sons are defined. The Farther being Universal Spirit and the two sons symbolically denote the two states of consciousness necessary to every individuality. We also address the application of the story and bring it down to our experiences. After each segment, three questions are posed to the listeners:

· Segment One question defines “The Far Country” Why are we in want, and no none give to us but ourselves.

· Segment Two questions emphasize the importance of stopping all self-condemnation and we must awaken to the truth of who we are.

· Segment Three shows how the Father’s house is always open and  the fact that the Universe Holds Nothing Against Us.

Man is a conscious, self-knowing mind, equipped with preference and choice he is an individual and can do as he chooses.

We must become as little children. How we long for a return of that simple trust in life which children have; in their minds, there are no doubts – they have not yet been told that they are sinners, deprived of divine guidance and spiritual life. The life of the child is lived in natural goodness. God is natural goodness.

No matter how long we may have been away from God in our thought, Divine Spirit is always here, ready to spring forth into expression. No matter how long a room may have been in darkness, the entrance of light instantly illuminates it. Remember, our consciousness is not yet fitted to perceive complete perfection's wholeness, so we demonstrate illumination only to the degree that we can handle it.

Quench not the Spirit. Meaning we are not to be ashamed of our trust in God, nor are we to deny the Inner Light that lights every man’s motives. Spiritual emotion is common to all people and is one of the ways through which the Spirit works. When the emotion is blocked, it hinders the currents of life from flowing and the result is stagnation.

Now it is high time to wake out of sleep. The belief in life apart from God is a dream from which we must awake, if we are to taste the waters of Reality, which flow from the Sources of life. We can never be happy without inner peace, and things do not give us peace A connection to the inner Christ gives us peace.

In presenting the parable of the Prodigal Son to his listeners Jesus began by saying that the Father had two sons. The Father in the story is the Universal Spirit. Meaning that, as the son of God, man has the right to self-choice. This carries with it the possibility of apparent duality and the possibility of experiencing good and evil.

Always the idea of perfected man must have been in the Divine Mind; involved within the Cause is its Effect. Man being an individual, may do as he wills with himself. The Spirit ever has a witness within us and the God-intended person already knows that he is One with the Whole, that Nature is comprised of One ultimate Power, using many instruments and having many avenues of expressions.

We are to know the Truth by its fruits. A certain estimate of reality is ever evidenced by its worth in actual living. We are not to separate life from living nor God from His creation. One is the Cause, the other is the effect. The invisible things of God are manifest through the visible, and unless the invisible thought and desire of the man are in line with Truth, his acts will fall into error.
