In this week’s episode we welcome Ryan Underhill to the show. Ryan's a Farmers Insurance Agent from Marshall, Michigan. I have known Ryan for a couple years now and when I was putting this podcast together I knew Ryan would be great to have on. Not only is he an insurance business owner, but he also prioritizes his family and community. In this week’s episode I ask him some insurance questions that a lot of young families are wondering. I ask him questions like:
We end the show with some news on the new factory coming to Marshall, Michigan. Ryan has seen and helped in the process as a member of the Marshall City Council.

Welcome Back! This week we take a deep dive into your bank accounts. Don't worry! I won't look at the numbers. The goal of this episode is to help you structure your bank accounts to not only be successful in your finances, but also in your marriage. Financial issues is the 2nd leading cause of a divorce, behind infidelity. What if we could change that?
The goal in your marriage should be to be on the "same team." Both of you should be working together to achieve your goals. Financially and emotionally. I go into the two main ways you can structure your accounts and the pros and cons of both. Regardless of what option you choose, you need a "Bills Account." This is an account that all your main bills that you pay month-to-month come out of. This allows you to pay yourself and your debts first. Rather than waiting for them to come in and hoping you have the money to pay for them. Which is the majority of America.

A great financial plan is built with a healthy foundation. In this episode, Connor goes over what he calls "The Circle Talk." The Circle Tallk is what Connor uses in his financial planning practice to explain what a healthy financial foundation looks like, and the steps to take to get there. We start with Bank/Savings and creating an emergency fund. After Bank/Savings he goes over insurance and the proper coverages that every young family should look into.
