  • 107. Michelle Tuan

Michelle Tuan is a comedian and actress based in Los Angeles.

I met Michelle when she worked at Opening Ceremony in New York and I told her I was taking comedy writing classes because that time I believed I could write for SNL and told her about my spiritual journey about being a comedian but it was most likely a quarter life crisis.

But instead she became a comedian herself and has been in commercials. I’m so proud of her.

You can catch Michelle hosting Craft Services on Popshop Live every Tuesday at 6PM PST.

I can’t stop playing her IG stories. When you watch her videos, it's like you’re about to eat pop rocks and then you’re about to get that popping sensation. That’s how I feel when I see her. It’s a tingly sensation or I just smoked a ton of weed. Either or I feel good or I don’t really know how to feel.

Socially awkward social butterfly but with jokes.

Please welcome Michelle Tuan to Wear Many Hats.

  • 106. Liam Benzvi

Liam Benzvi is a singer-songwriter and composer that I can’t stop playing on repeat.

I’m not sure if its changing of the seasons or I feel liberated while riding very fast in the new Citi E Bikes to his music.

I first heard of Liam through Luca Venter, a photographer I’m deeply into. I loved their collaborative photos for Buds Digest and thought, I know what Luca does, but what does Liam do. Glad I found out.

Liam released his catchy new record, 'Acts of Service' out on Terrible Records and it's straight hits.

It’s either I’m listening to Liam or Harry Styles.

    Soul seeking. Yearning. Longing. Crisp.

Please welcome Liam Benzvi to Wear Many Hats.

  • 105. Kelton Bumgarner

Kelton Bumgarner is an artist, designer and creative director in Philadelphia, PA. As an artist, he explores landscapes and decay through sculpture and unconventional photography.

Kelton is currently the creative director for Atmos USA fka UBIQ in which he has worked on numerous projects from concept to completion, including several sold-out collaborations with brands such as New Balance, Diadora, Saucony, Asics, and Clarks.

I am familiar of Kelton’s work from friend and guest of the pod, Marissa Le aka Yolo Ono where they work together over at Atmos.

Atmos tapped Dahsar to creative produce their outdoor advertising wheatpaste campaign in collaboration with Asics entitled GEL-LYTE III OG “NYC SUBWAY”

Theres a photo of Kelton circulating the internet of him assisting A$AP Nast on a piece of clothing and Kelton is focusing in and in the zone. I like to compare it to the iconic photo of Young Thug when standing behind a computer about to solve the worlds intricate problems but instead he’s just producing.

Two iconic photos. Men at work.

Please welcome Kelton Bumgarner to Wear Many Hats.

  • 104. Teresa Johnson - Veggie Mom Club

Teresa Johnson is a holistic health coach that you may know her as Veggie Mom Club.

Before Teresa was a holistic health coach, she was a model, volunteered for GrowNYC, an environmental nonprofit, and was hired to manage a few sites for their Fresh Food Box Program.

Teresa has plant-based community dinners with Mayday Space and Bushwick City Farms, and by word of mouth and Instagram, was hired as a freelance vegan caterer for environmental and fashion brands. She would use leftover produce from her job to curate the menu for her community dinners, and shopped at farmer’s markets, mainly sourcing from farmers of color for catering events.

Teresa started Veggie Mom Club centered around food, gathering, and reproductive health, and realized she liked to create and produce, and have pursued work that will help lead her to goals of wanting to tell visual stories centered around food, tradition, agriculture, and reproductive health justice.

Please welcome Teresa Johnson to Wear Many Hats.

  • 103. Brian Nguyen

Brian Nguyen is a video director, shooter, and photographer.

Brian currently works over at Hypebeast but I knew him as a Hypebeast way back when during the Philly days.

We crossed paths over at Temple University where I surprisingly went to school but it was always good to catch up with Brian at the functions at Ps & Qs formally known as the great Abukus Takeout.

No not a restaurant, a streetwear store.

Brian captures all the elements when he shoots and when they come out he edits them to a t where they give a Blade Runner feel to it which is why I always appreciate and love Brian’s work. I’m not a fan of digital but when I am, I always turn to Brian.

Please welcome Brian Nguyen to Wear Many Hats.

  • 101. Gray Broderick - Take Out Delivery

Gray Broderick is a freelance consultant and pastry chef.

Gray runs Office Gray which is a creative consultancy at the intersection of culture, commerce, and contemporary criticism.

I met Gray at the wonderful Colbo on 51 Orchard street where she delivers baked goods every weekend under Take-Out Delivery where she calls it a Research-Based Dessert Project which was founded in 2017.

Take Out Began as a way to connect and thank members of the community.

Gray has an occasional email that she puts out called A Tease where she talks about the things Gray is teasing out, that are teasing her, and teasers from what’s happening, or could happen in the world around us.

I just joined yesterday. It’s good, I’m still not done reading it during my morning matcha.

Gray knows all the spots for dinner. I have tapped in for a few restaurants through her and honestly she doesn’t miss.

Glad to run into Gray every weekend, whether its at Colbo, Dashwood Books, Karma, maybe a museum, always a great conversation to be had.

Please welcome Gray to Wear Many Hats.

  • 99. Rae Witte

Rae Witte is a writer and a pool critic based in NY.

She’s covered music, style, sneakers, dating, art and tech topics for TechCrunch, Architectural Digest, i-D, Wall Street Journal, GQ, Complex, and Vogue Business.

In addition to writing, Witte has had a live online radio show, taken on brand consulting clients and copywriting.

Rae  curates FINDS NY, a vintage and secondhand home goods shop.

I read Rae’s interview with Pharrell awhile back and had to follow her on Twitter because she knows what she’s talking about. She also spreads the good word on leads to jobs, essays, and to keep up with her writing.

She knew what she was doing.
