OUR HEATWAVE CONTINUES INTO LATE WEEK, ALTHOUGH RIGHT AT THE SHORE…TEMPS WILL REMAIN INTHE 80S…BUT NO ONE GETS A BREAK IN HUMIDITY. PARTLY SUNNY SKIES ARE LIKELY FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH HIGHS INTO LOW 90S AWAY FROM THE COAST. GORDON’S RAIN WILL SPREAD NORTHWEST AND THEN NORTH. THAT MOISTURE WILL TEAM UP WITH A COLD FRONT, WHICH WILL HEAD TOWARD US BY LATE THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. SHOWERS AND SOME STORMS POSSIBLE THEN. WE THINK IT SHOULD MOVE SOUTH AND STALL. THE BIG QUESTION…AND ALWAYS THE QUESTION…WHERE ? NEW ENGLAND HAS THE BEST CHANCE OF DRIER COOLER WX BY FRIDAY…ELSEWHERE IT COULD REMAIN HUMID AND SOMETIMES WET.

1907 – SNOW FELL ON MONADNOCK MOUNTAIN IN SOUTHERN N.H.

    WEATHER-CAST

A COOL FRONT EXTENDS FROM MAINE TO OHIO. DUE TO MORE CLOUDS AND SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS…IF YOU’RE LUCKY…TEMPS WILL NOT BE AS HOT TODAY…MAINLY IN 80S. WE WILL DROP INTO THE 60S TONIGHT…BUT A NORTHEAST BREEZE WILL LIKELY KEEP US CLOUDY AND IN THE 70S FRIDAY…WITH SOME SPOTTY RAIN OR DRIZZLE. WILL THIS LEAD US INTO THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND…OR WILL DRY AIR FROM CANADA PUSH SOUTH AND TURN THINGS PARTLY SUNNY? WINDS MAY RETURN TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST SUNDAY INTO MONDAY…AND THAT COULD MEAN MORE HUMIDITY – HEAT AND SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

    THE FORECAST:

TODAY: PARTLY CLOUDY- HUMID – CHANCE OF A THUNDERSTORM – LOWER 90S

TONIGHT: CLOUDY- SOME SHOWERS – 65-70

A FRONT NEARBY ON FRIDAY WILL KEEP TEMPS IN 70S TO NEAR 80S…AND SOME SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE.

THE WEEKEND IS ANYTHING BUT CERTAIN. IT LOOKS LIKE CLOUDS CAN WIN OUT OVER ANY SUN…AND IF THAT IS THE CASE…TEMPS COULD STAY IN 70S. WILL THERE BE ANY RAIN…. POSSIBLY, SO END RESULT. IT’S STILL UP IN THE AIR.

    THE FORECAST:

TODAY: CONTINUED HAZY –  HOT- HUMID – 95 TO 100
