  • How do you act when no one is watching? | Weaver & Loom [E101] (Part 7 of 9)

Insecurity is created when we PRETEND to be something in public that isn't true in private.

Therefore--we build security by acting in secret . . . don't worry people will notice in due course that you are developing and growing as an individual. You won't have to tell them.

@moeflood even talks about this on episode #39 of Own the Future.

Development happens in the dark, only then will it be visible in the light.

  • From identity not for identity | Weaver & Loom [E100] (Part 6 of 9)

Who we believe we are shapes everything we do. Know that you ARE born for greatness. Knowing that you ARE great (something that springs from the understanding of our identity as humans which is defined by our sacred space belief) enables you to do great work.

Many, my self included, fall into the trap of working to gain a sense of greatness or accomplishment--instead of living from our identity.

On this episode we explore how our world view (our identity) creates the world around us.

  • Courage to work in the shadows | Weaver & Loom [E097] (Part 3 of 9)

As we continue to talk about being change makers, hit an important aspect of doing great work--that is our ability to work in the shadows, our ability to serve and impact our clients or customers even when we aren't getting credit, even when we aren't being seen.

This is what it means to have the courage to become an absolutely nobody.

If you want to accomplish the greatness upon your life you will need the courage to endure season of obscurity. Seasons of working with out the lime light.

It is in that place of hidden work that true character, value, and worth is developed for both you as a person and for the audience that you seek to serve.

  • You were born for greatness | Weaver & Loom [E096] (Part 2 of 9)

A year ago I posted on Instagram a quote saying "We are created for greatness." And to my surprise two people disagreed...

I thought everyone knew and believed that we were born to do great and amazing feats during our lives--but apparently I was wrong.  Not everyone believes this.

In part 2 of 9 on what it means to be a change maker and what it means to be an absolute nobody--we define greatness...

... and we do it through a short retelling of the ending of Toy Story 4 ***SPOILER ALERT*** if you have not watched the film don't listen to this episode.
