Webcor 50 Year Anniversary

Forrest Walch began his Webcor career as a carpenter in 1995, never expecting to remain with the company for a quarter of a century or rising to the level of senior superintendent, where he has been working most recently on a project for American Airlines at San Francisco International Airport, ranging from the baggage claim and ticketing areas to the airline's Admiral Club lounge. In this interview, Forrest looks back at the projects and the culture in 1995 and the events that have shaped the company he sees today.

In 2020, Matt Rossie was named Webcor's new Chief Operating Officer, joining the company's four-person board of directors. That's quite an achievement for someone who had no general contracting experience when he joined the company, where he planned to stay only long enough to satisfy a non-compete agreement from his previous employer, where he was a partner on the client side of construction. In this interview, Matt shares his experiences over the last 19 years and his thoughts about Webcor's past, present, and future.
