We're back with counselor, Debbie Oberto to chat about boundaries. Why they are important, and how they protect us and others emotionally and mentally. We loved chatting with Debbie so much on tools for anxiety that this was the natural segway to go deeper with boundaries!
A day late - but worth the wait! So sorry friends, I have been under the weather with a major head cold and just now getting this week's episode up. But let me tell you, Stephanie & Vic's story is so worth the wait. They were set to have the New York wedding the end of August and obviously those plans changed due to covid-19. Hear their honest and raw emotions about their planning decisions and how they are trying to make the best of it and pivot with a new plan. They are so sweet and we hope you find their story inspiring!
This week we were supposed to release part 2 of a series with Debbie. The topic was boundaries. But to be perfectly honest... the world is in a dark and scary place and we felt that this episode should come out first. There is a lot of anxiety going around. About covid, about racism, black people being murdered, county wide curfews, protests all over the nation. There is A LOT of anxiety going around. We are so grateful for Dr. Allen Berger and his wise words. And we hope this episode helps explain your anxiety as well as helps you navigate through it.

This week we are bringing you an episode we recorded before the quarantine started. We were able to talk to a counselor about all things therapy and how it pertains to the different traumas in our lives - and we felt that it was fitting during these crazy times. As Debbie says, "trauma disconnects us" and we need to be connected now more than ever. We hope you enjoy it and keep an eye out for the part 2 of this episode all about boundaries!
This week we share your wedding while in quarantine stories. We hear from couples who elope during the pandemic, couples are struggle with what to do next, and vendors who are making the best out of a horrible situation. We are so inspired by everyone!
