Their mission is to strengthen the veteran community by providing crucial wrap-around services. OSDRI Executive Director, Erik B Wallin, Esq (Captain, USAF (FMR.), returns to the program on Armed Forces Day to bring us the latest on their programs and events. OSDRI’s annual Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial, founded by Capt. Dee DeQuattro, Esq. U.S. ARMY (Active Duty) will take place during Memorial Day Weekend at Fort Adams, in Newport, Rhode Island. This living memorial honors post 9/11 service members who were killed in action and missing in action, during the Global War on Terror. Listen as he honors the brothers and sisters, who will be added to the 2024 memorial. Of local significance is Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J. Chambers (Westfield, Mass) and Air Force Master Sargeant David L. Poirier (Salem, NH). Erik also stresses the need for the community to respond by helping OSDRI with donations, volunteer opportunities and by keeping the food pantry stocked with everyday items.

Nick Coit (@NCoitABC6)  in for Ben Kichen and Tucker Silva (@TuckSilva) discuss the Patriots schedule release, first half of the schedule is very brutal, Playing the jets and 49ers on the road is going to be tough, week one anything can happen in the NFL, the Bengal’s have been slow starters with Joe Burrow, wouldn’t be surprised if the Patriots get a road win against the Bengals, the patriots come home against the Seahawks, the Jets will be a winnable game, the Patriots will face Mac Jones when they play in London, want to see the Matchup Drake Maye against Mac Jones, couldn’t see the Patriots get any win against any AFC East team, the Rams at home could be a winnable game, have the Patriots at 6 wins.

Nick Coit (@NCoitABC6)  in for Ben Kichen and Tucker Silva (@TuckSilva) start the second hour of the show feeling the biggest concern about the Celtics team is have they been challenged, the Cavs were hurt and banged up, the Celtics haven’t been challenged enough, the Celtics won’t be ready for the wolves or nuggets, the expectation for the Celtics are high, it’s a good thing the Celtics haven’t gone to game 7 in this playoff series.

Nick Coit (@NCoitABC6)  in forBen Kichen and Tucker Silva (@TuckSilva) discuss how The Knicks and Pacers have a game seven.  does it really matter who the Celtics play in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics should have an easier time handling the Pacers than it would facing the Knicks, the Knicks have a very talented team, the Knicks will be a tough team to battle, everyone would love to see the Knicks and Celtics play, the Knicks are a slightly better team than the Cavaliers, could see the Celtics take both Knicks and Pacers in six games, Morris was going off in game 5.
