Memorial Day Weekend in Cooperstown at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will pay tribute to the greatest legends of Black baseball by hosting the Hall of Fame East-West Classic: A Tribute to the Negro Leagues All-Star Game. The greatest legends of Black baseball demonstrated their talent and desire for four decades at the annual Negro Leagues East-West All-Star Game, honoring and Celebrating the History of Black Baseball. Jon Shestakofsky, Vice President of Communications and Education, details this special event and as a companion, new interactive museum exhibit, "The Souls of The Game". The Saturday afternoon game (first pitch 1:05pm) is held at historic Doubleday Field, where MLB Hall of Famers and players have enjoyed competing. Listen to Jon describe the concept and process that brought this initiative to fruition. The East-West Classic teams emerged with legends CC Sabathia (Captain-Team West) and Chris Young (Captain-Team East) enthusiastically recruiting recently retired black ball players, such as David Price, Adam Jones, Curtis Granderson and Prince Fielder. The Museum also provides programs that provide K-12 students and teachers interactive and meaningful learning experiences online and in their communities. We look forward to July for HOF Weekend 2024 as well, when WEEI's own Joe Castiglione, the voice of the Boston Red Sox for 41 years and counting, receives the 2024 Ford C. Frick Award recognizing excellence in baseball broadcasting.

Devin wants to know Tucker and Ben’s favorite Memorial Day food. Joe wants to know Tucker and Ben’s thoughts on JJ Redick possibly being the next coach of the Lakers.

Ben Kichen and Tucker Silva (@TuckSilva) feel the feel of the game has gone out the window, the 2004 Red Sox team was built around chemistry, the 2013 red sox team was good.

Ben Kichen and Tucker Silva (@TuckSilva) start the second hour of the show discussing that Tatum is the most gifted Athlete the Celtics have, Tatum is big he is strong and very athletic, all Jordan had was Pippen and Rodman, The Red Sox got blanked last night by the Brewers, the Red Sox swepted the Rays this week, wouldn’t have thought the Sox would be in the wildcard hunt, should the Red Sox start making moves to try to jump teams and get ahead of the other teams, the Red Sox are in a good position to maybe acquire some talent before the deadline.

Ben Kichen and Tucker Silva (@TuckSilva) ask Who are the current gms for the Boston teams, Don Sweeney for the Bruins, Elliot Wolf for the Patriots, Craig Breslow for the Red Sox, and Brad Stevens for the Celtics, what Brad Stevens have done for the Celtics is amazing, if Brad Stevens wins it all he should there with Theo Epstain is amazing the trade of Holiday and Porzingis was a very clutch move for the Celtics, Brad traded away the 6th man of the year last year, Brad trade away Brogdon, Williams and Smart in the offseason and got Holiday and Porzingis,
