Love is not revealed in our doctrine or our theories or our church mission statements. It’s written in those places, but it isn’t revealed in those places. Love is revealed in the words we speak and the things we do in the neighborhood. We, like Jesus, are containers of the word of Life, and we have been sent in containers of flesh and blood, right into the neighborhood. Which neighborhood? All of them.
