The biggest college football news of our lives dropped a couple weeks ago! Nick Saban retired and Kalen Deboer has been hired as his replacement for the Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team.

The news shocked the world, so Michael and Daniel caught up to talk about it. Please excuse the voice quality of both cohosts as they both sound like they need serious sinus medication! But, the show must go on.

It’s Bowl Season. What better time for a comeback from your favorite podcast hosts?

Pettey and Michael are back to give their final thoughts on a wild College Football Season. We also discuss playoff expansion and how the changing landscape affects teams like Ole Miss and even Tulane.  The age old question, “when will Saban retire”, takes the stage as we debate and how the King of College Football keeps getting it done.

The biggest day since Week Zero is finally here! Pettey and Michael are back to discuss the monster matchups of the week — and as always — to tell it like it is!

There may be a discussion about the small tilt in Tuscaloosa between Pettey’s favorite Rebels and Micheal’s beloved Crimson Tide. But who knows if we'll have the time? LOL.

Who are we kidding, with Kiffin calling for “Crumbling Castles” and all the questions for the Tide at QB, we spend A LOT OF TIME on the monster matchup in Title Town. However the weekend is just too big to ignore the other top 25 matchups.

We preview the big ACC showdown with 4th ranked Florida State traveling to Clemson, then Auburn vs Texas A&M, Colorado vs Oregon, Mississippi State vs South Carolina, and of course the game of the night in South Bend between Notre Dame and Ohio State.

It's week 3 in college football and the 1st week of the NFL season is behind us. Join us for our hottest takes on the games thus far and those coming up today. 

This week we discuss the SEC Football slate, including Alabama vs South Florida, Ga Tech vs Ole Miss, LSU vs Mississippi State, Tennessee vs Florida and much more. In classic Week Zero tradition we will try to pull our weekly Pick 3 number out of the gutter.

Our main discussion centers around this: Is the SEC starting to lose its grip as the most dominant force in college football? We ponder the poor performances across the board from the once mighty SEC.

In a flashback to the the "good old days" we also revisit our Darwin Life Champion for a break from the gridiron.

Then we give our final thoughts on the Alabama debacle versus Texas. We even take a few minutes to dabble in the NFL. The Miami Dolphins offense looks like a juggernaut. Will Kansas city start 0-2? Is Roger Goodell the next coming of Vince McMahon?

The show must go on! Better late than never!

This episode required a fight with Mother Nature on two fronts. First, during recording, Hurricane Ian unleased his fury on the Pettey household. Followed shortly by another appearance at our Charlotte studio that delayed production for a couple more days. But don't fret!

This week, several high-profile SEC games are on the slate, finally! The Kentucky Wildcats visit Pettey's Ole Miss Rebels for a top 25 matchup while the Alabama Crimson Tide take their 2nd ranked squad to Fayetteville where they'll try to roast some Arkansas Razorback pigs.

And, that's not all! Our statistics team was hard at work all week finding you the best trends to grow your bankroll, and we've found that trend. See if you can pick it out! Finally, Auburn Fans may have something to celebrate after this weekend. And no... we aren't talking about a new coach.
