For this week's show, we take our focus to institutional racism within healthcare. Using recently learned knowledge from graduate work, JAMA publications, and other disparity statistics, we discuss how implicit bias affects healthcare and medicine. While efforts continue to move closer to health equity, this conversation is important to understanding societal systems interact with medicine and public health.

This week, we feature Coach John Mosley, the head men's basketball coach at East Los Angeles College. John and his program are the most recent feature of the Netflix Original Series, "Last Chance U". With him and his coaching style on display for the world to see, John retained his authenticity and passion for coaching. He's coached at the Division I level and spent time playing professionally in Australia and Brazil. We talk about the road to developing a winning culture within a program, the gratification and satisfaction when helping athletes get to the next level, and other challenges to managing a team. He's been an inspiration to so many who have played for him as well as watched his season on Netflix. We hope you enjoy this week's show.

This week, Kassidy returns for a special ACS episode! We talk about her abbreviated junior basketball season and her semester wrap up before revisiting her experience with cancer. This week we welcome singer/songwriter John England to the show! John has been a professional musician for years and has played in Indiana, New York City, and even at the Grand Ole Opry. His band "John England and the Western Swingers" became a staple at Robert's Wester World since they began playing there in July 2001.
