This week's albums: Niños del Cerro - Suave pendiente [10/13/22] and insaneintherainmusic - Insane in the Rain [10/21/22]
We give our final thoughts on that show that we talked about that you all watched that just ended and drop our second moratorium on it, but more importantly, we talk about trees, like actual trees not those trees, Mexican food, which languages sound good, some of the dangers of workplace flirting, and sobriety.
This week's album: Palm - Nicks and Grazes [10/14/22]
We got a new sip seen and a seasonal sip review, we got the objective opinions on the classic Halloween candy brands, we do a deep dive on pretty much all of HBO's House of the Dragon, and get critical on the issue of how modern music is mixed and mastered.
Today we're joined by our good friend Sam to talk about an album we've been looking forward to for a while now: Alvvays - Blue Rev [10/7/222].
We spend the better part of an hour getting into one of the more hyped releases we've covered. Then we get on to a few food related YouTube channels, and you get a few rants about shitty apartment companies and grad school along the way.

This week's albums: billy woods x Messiah Musik - Church [9/30/22] and death's dynamic shroud - Darklife [9/23/22].
We also have a couple of bonus albums to talk about, one from this year and a classic from a few decades ago, but more importantly, we're upset about science and have some ideas on how to promote it better, we give you the history you've never heard about the shortening of the work week, we start digging into dead genres and post-genres, and we have some interesting snacks.
This week's albums: The Comet Is Coming - Hyper-Dimensional Expansion Beam [9/23/2022] and Szorstkie - Szorstkie [9/9/2022].
It's a long one folks, but it's a good one. The centerpiece this week is a discussion of one of the three movies that came out in 2020, Charlie Kaufman's newest film I'm Thinking of Ending Things. It's a divisive one - 82% from critics and 50% from the audience on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.6/10 on imdb, and a 2.3/5 on Google that has its most common scores as 1 and 5 - which means it's at least worth a watch.
But, we open the show with some thoughts on a new single from an album we've gone from hyped to cautiously optimistic about. Later on, we talk about an American politician who has done something so impossible we never could have predicted it, and in classic WDB style, we run off rants on ads and modern cell phones,
This week's albums: King Buffalo - Regenerator [9/30/22] and Angles - A Muted Reality [6/17/22]
The pandemic is over! Or at least we can all officially believe so! But more importantly, we have an exclusive review of an album that's not out yet (you'll only hear this review here!), sobriety and semi-sobriety can be chill, movies are too long, California did a cool thing, new music actually isn't all terrible, and we talk about the most socially relevant thing we ever have: burning couches.
This week's albums: Holy Fawn - Dimensional Bleed [9/9/22], Sigh - Shiki [8/26/22]
We start the show with mild takes on a mild pepper, and finish up with hot takes on a band from a cold place just before what might be our first official anti-shoutout.
In between, we talk about the Emmy's we didn't watch including why we don't like Mr. Squid Game, dig into David Graeber's original 2013 essay On the Phenomenon of Bullshit Jobs, a Florida politician and his conspicuous choice in partner, and the absolute state of Moldova.
