• . God shows us via His Word that when we concentrate on Him instead of our problems desperation and depression wanes.
• . Dare to trust God like David did even in the midst of your sorrow and pain.

Do we always have to go through some stuff to realize how much God loves and cares for us?

We must not be consumed by what we are going through or the things of this world.

Our understanding and first passion and love ought to be in thanksgiving to God for his deliverance. 

To know, love, and trust God via Christ is everything and we ought to show a passion for that.

When God gives you direction, you have to follow it.

 So are you telling God you didn't hear Him, you didn't understand Him, You weren't sure of Him?

Face the truth, determine what the problem is, then get it off your boat or out of your life

Don't let pride keep you from calling on the name of the Lord. 

Too many of us aim low, miss our intended target, then wonder why. 

Recognize that we serve a mighty God who is calling on us to aim higher. The things we are settling for are too low. 

If you want better you have to do better by reaching for better via God's help.

To defeat discouragement you have to get ahead of it and dwell on God and his goodness instead of your problems.

What we are going through calls us, it even shouts at us, but we cannot listen less we be dragged into the rabbit hole. 

God gave us numerous biblical examples like Joseph, and David who were discouraged but still trusted Him. 

 Paul tells us to practice Phil. 4:83

• Many times the things we see or are exposed to affect us without us realizing it; I'm talking mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 
• What we are dealing with today is not new; it's an evil world, but we must still call on God, not false help.
• For some of us things have gone terribly wrong and we are hurting even after trying to do what is right.
• David is reassuring us via the Psalms, he has been via the same, but he cried to God for help; we should do the same.
