I always play too many single note lines, with one or two chord bits, so flipped it and this is mostly power chords with one or two single note lines. Digital guitars (sigh) too busy this week.

On the road this week, so used the iPad to create an ambient piece. Everything is AudioKit's Pro-A5 except for the lead guitar.

It is summer solstice today (at least it was on the day I made this) and it was really warm here today, so here is something more ambient this week.

I did not manage to properly work on nor finish this as my Logic kept bugging me with either "System Overload" or even completely crashing - while my project had 4 tracks in total. I then declared this as finished as it was literally impossible to work on it :(

So here we go: Something ambient coming in too hot, overloaded and crashing :D

I went a slightly different route this week and started creating material in VCV Rack.

I built a patch using a sampler and then was able to break up the beat. I also built a percussion patch and an effect patch and recorded each one individually.

I took these recordings into Reason, where I added a baseline, used some NASA Samples in Kong and added an atmospheric bed.

After some tweaking to the arrangement, I mixed, added effects and mastered the track.
