This week, our wild Japanese cherry tree was once again in full bloom. This incredibly beautiful spectacle only lasts for about a week. Today, it begins to lose its soft pink petals, and when I look out the window, it almost feels like it’s snowing. But I know winter is gone, and spring is on its way.

Musically, I didn’t dig too deep into my gear. I just made some beats on the SP-404, grabbed my OP-1, added a guitar loop, and layered a pad with a vocal sample from an old cassette I found, filled with African music.

I got a late start this week, Saturday morning before the sun came up - first was the guitar chord progressions, and built it from there. Drums and bass weren't added until this morning (Sunday) - My cats decided 4AM was a good time to start the day, now it's almost 10AM and I'm calling this one done.

Don't have a whole lot to say about this one. It was another busy week, so I didn't have a lot of time to make something for WB. I was playing a bit with Sunvox on my phone again, picked up a project I started last summer (only a small loop) and decided to build it out into this week's WB submission.

Apologies for not listening to a lot of WB (and not commenting a lot) last week.

Sunvox is really nice; I think I should play with it more.
