I wasn't sure I would make it this week. After weeks of pushing, and a lot of music in the last couple in particular, I'm tired. I am weary. I honestly thought about just skipping or quitting for the first time this week, but y'all spurred me on, and I've kept it going another week. This started with that arp on the TEO-5, and then I built around it on the M8. It's simple and doesn't necessarily have a lot of variety, but mostly just plays with dynamics. Part of me feels self-conscious or like that's boring (it probably is), but again, I'm tired, and it also fits where I'm at right now.

So we wrapped up reprocessing one target memory (finally got to 7/7, sort of), and started working on another. I had been feeling pretty good in some ways, and I been feeling like I've been making a lot of progress, but there's still been some things nagging at me. We started attacking those today, and it was rough. Did you ever start trying to dig a rock out of the ground, and then realize that it was way, way bigger than you initially thought? This feels like a Tommyknockers level rock to excavate. The process sucks and involves looking at lots of stuff that hurts to look at and feels really hard to talk to another person about, and a part of me is telling me that even with all this work, I'm not going to be able to get this rock excavated. That said, I guess I gotta keep trying. 41 more weeks of tracks is feeling a little overwhelming right at this moment, too, but I guess I'm gonna keep trying at that, too!
Anyways, that's where I'm coming from with this today, and I hope you enjoy. Sorry I've been off my comment game recently; I've been struggling, but I hope to get back at it the way I was in the first several weeks. Be well, friends.
