Did a Pokémon music imitation jam this week and I don’t play Pokémon so here’s my rendtion of that style. I never really watched Pokémon growing up, I was more into Yu-Gi-Oh but I know it’s way more popular. Hope you enjoy

I ordered food, but apparently it was set as a "pick up" thing... It was across town, and there was no way to cancel it. Called the restraunt, and told them to not make it (so they didn't), but they couldn't cancel it.

All I could eat was the RAGE.

This one was a bit of a struggle, could have used more time in the oven but here we are! I went in aiming to do an early mount kimbie organic garage type thing but of course the end result is totally different. Started by making a drumkit out of snippets of field recordings, then looped a chunk of a synth recording which became the main chord bed. The 'lead' is a recording of a humming wine glass, it triggers at a new section of the loop each time which brings out some nice unpredictable texture. A different slice of the chord sample leads to the B section.

Another kind of low effort experimental entry from my side. Playing with a brass plate. set up some resonators with the idea to have the sweeps kind of strumming the resonators. Don't know if its working fantastically here, but i think it's a cool idea and i'm glad that i tried it... week 10 feels like some kind of a milestone.

Very Amiga 500 inspired, it's a long weekend here so I made most of this in bed on the laptop speakers then gave it a quick mix down on the main rig with cans.

This one is all over the place. Some kind of House maybe? Idk. Had a fun bassline and was mostly experimenting with remote controlling my patch from the Neuzeit Drop. Some mistakes in there but I ran out of time... haven't cut it this close to the deadline before in this WeeklyBeats season.

But I gotta cook my weekly beets... geddit?

- Schlappi Three Body on bass, as overdriven as I could get it into the Eon Procyon, with cutoff sequenced with a 5/4 cycle from Maestro

- Cursus Iteritas Alia through the Doepfer SEM filter does the little end of bar twirl

- Monumatic on Chord stabs

- 4ms Ensemble Oscillator through Bastl Ikarie on supporting melody duty.

Technically OPL3 just for the additional waveforms, it's all 2-OP patches. I like to use these weekly beats to try out some new ideas. Decided for a bit of freeform 2-step garage in a more 'major' key with just a couple of channels to sketch out an idea. It's underbaked, but I like where it's going.

In this limited materialistic world view the mind is merryly seen as the result of neural activity, in which electrical signals (action potentials) within nerve cells and chemical signals (neurotransmitters) between them transmit information.

This is a journey through the abbys, out of the industrial ruins of the old western world pf ours - a psychological physiological being aka the collectivity of live is struggeling to be born. Slowly breathing, towards awareness of it's biological body, it's electrochemical psyche and the spiritual mind of the world soul - cloding in on the singularity of creation and it's creator.
