I am on holiday so using iPad with Cubasis 3. Bit of a learning curve :-)

Not a melodic track but some interesting noise largely based around Battallion

I went for a more melodic, lofi techno thing this week. The synths are Polyend Tracker+ engines, except for the acid bass which is TT-303 that I sampled into the tracker. I rendered it on the tracker (sorry for the rough mix) and felt that it needed to be less dry, so I used SketchCassette to add colour. I may have overdone it but ehh it's a quick jam. I hope to produce more acid for next week.

Made a quick sketch/loop on the Dirtywave M8. Then exported the stems into Ableton and cleaned up the sounds and tried my best to expand this little loop to an arrangement. Added several sounds in the process.

This one starts off gloomy af. It's kind of a weird one for me I guess. I think it comes alive in the 2nd half though, and then burns out fast, like a star. I think this would be the first week that I've felt any sort of struggle making music. It's not that it's difficult, but I'm probably starting to be harder on myself wanting to make better stuff. Which is fine I guess. I do feel like I should be better at this than I am right now.. But yea. I continue. Thanks for listening!
