When you understand "the why" behind everything you do on your weight loss journey, you can then more easily take action that is supportive to you and your overall goals.
This is what we explore in my final podcast of 2024 "When 'The Why' is SO Important."
Happy Holidays!
All along this weight loss journey, I’ve enjoyed the occasional Diet Doctor Pepper here and there… until now.
In this episode, I’m going to explain the concept of Nutritive Mismatch, how it’s shown up for me, and how it might be making it harder to lose and maintain your weight loss.

We are getting into the Holiday Season!!!
First, I have a question… How did Halloween go?
Did you make a plan to enjoy your favorite Halloween Candy? Did you stick to it? Or did you just see the candy like many of my clients and think, “eh, no big deal.”
OR….
Are you in full force fuck it (FFFI) mode?
I am going to address how to handle the dreaded FFFI and give you some additional tools to handle the Holidays in this podcast.

So, once the weight is on its way off and we’ve worked through that, we really get to work on feeling better in your life. One of my clients who has lost a ton of weight recently told me, “My whole life feels better after coaching with you… “ Which totally melts my heart and is why I do this work.
I know what it’s like to feel like you are in a never ending weight loss and weight gain spiral and I know what it feels like to feel not great in your mind as well. And at the core of it, they feed on each other, one contributes to the other… They are totally connected.
So in this podcast I wanted to share some tools that are helping my clients just feel better in their life.

If you were to tell me 4 years ago that I would have a “strength training routine” at the age of 39, I would have laughed out loud. 🤣
But here I am.
Sharing my very basic, but very efficient and effective strength training routine with you.
Here is the thing…
This is not something that I started when I was beginning my weight loss journey, it’s something that I’ve slowly added on and worked up to.
For more details on my strength training routine, read this post.
In today’s podcast, I want to talk to you about a concept that is crucial to weight loss.
To make permanent change in your actions, your lifestyle, and your approach to food you have to create a permanent change in your thinking about those things.
In this podcast I give you two examples of how your brain can be holding you back from embracing a new way of eating forever and engaging in joy outside of food.

So today we are going to talk about weight loss medications.
These medications have been a real hot topic and I’ve been getting a lot of questions so I thought I would do a podcast on it.
In this podcast I am going to dive into:
How they work.
How they work best.
Why they might not be working for you...
and
What to do about it.
Take a listen.
My best,
Brit
