The story of our lift to Israel, it was expected to arrive the week before
passover, then corona happened; passover came and went,
then the lift arrived with all our passover stuff. I guess
the 30 haggadahs will just have to wait until next 
passover....  and more.

The Passover Seder song of  Dayenu calls out to me this year
as our unique situation of having just moved to Israel coincides 
with the first global pandemic. 

Several years ago I traveled to Israel to visit my daughter.
My arrival was met with unexpected challenges, but with a cry 
into the heavens for help, all worked out just fine. 

One of the first hurtles in the Alyiah journey you won't be able to avoid is 
getting your documents apostilled. 

Karen and I made the Big jump to Israel. The world is
faced with a pandemic. Everyone on the planet is staring
into a huge unknown..
