Weird Al-gorithm

This week we are HONORED to be joined by Paul Scheer. We have been die-hard fans of Paul for decades be it his podcast How Did This Get Made, his appearances on VH1 shows like I Love the 80s and Best Week Ever or his entire writing, acting and creating career with shows like Human Giant, The League and Children's Hospital. Paul joined us this week to discuss Al's George Harrison/Rudy Clark parody (This Song's Just) Six Words Long and we deep dive into Al's career and it's influence on Paul's work.

This week we dive back into the music by discussing the 1988 smash hit Even Worse! This album kicks off with one of Al's biggest hits Fat. We dive into the brilliance of the lyrics, the music video and debate if the song is an anthem of positive body image or potentially fat-phobic.

As far as we can tell this was aired only once and if not for someone who uploaded it to YouTube it would have been lost to the sands of time! Look it up, watch it and enjoy our thoughts!!!
