            Elizabeth Klarer was a South African woman who, starting in 1956, publicly claimed to have been contacted by aliens multiple times between 1954 and 1963. Klarer's first visitation supposedly occurred when she was seven and she was one of the first women to claim a sexual relationship with an extraterrestrial. She promoted an ideal of a better world and beliefs in a cosmic consciousness.

               Amelia was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic ocean. She also set many other records including some for flight speed and altitude. In spite of her aviation skills she would mysteriously disappear during an attempt to circumnavigate the globe in 1937.                On November 10, 1985, a hunter discovered the remains of a woman and young girl in a 55 gallon drum at Bear Creek State Park in Allenstown, New Hampshire. Another drum full of remains was found in the same location on May 9, 2000. All of the victims had been beaten and dismembered. Buckle up weirdos this story goes to some dark places.

              This week we cover a strange tale of haunting and demonic possession. Latoya Ammons and her three children moved into a home in Gary Indiana and immediately began experiencing paranormal phenomenon. Ultimately local police, the church, family services and psychological profesionals would become involved in this case. Many involved thought that the mother was using the idea of demons as a way to keep her children in line but others including several priests, police officers and family service case workers fully believed that the family was under demonic attack.                Chris and Chuck Cover another cult, I honestly don't want to divulge to much here but this was a fun one. This weeks tale is a bit less dark and murdery than other cults we've covered and full of love and psychedelic drugs with a sprinkle of what can only be considered the best music ever (I hope Chuck was being sarcastic when he said to write that last bit).                    This week we continue our deep dive into The Necronomicon. The first mention of the Necronomicon was in H. P. Lovecrafts short story The Hound and while Lovecraft insisted that it was a work of pure fiction who's title came to him in a dream many believe it to be true. The Necronomicon that we're looking into today is known as The Simon Necronomicon and is a patchwork mixing middle eastern mysticism with the writings of H. P. Lovecreft and Aleister Crowley. Simon insisted that the book was a genuine collection of magic rituals that predate modern religions.
