Welcome 2 Show

Shit gets a little serious when we decided to watch the movie that won Best Picture at the 2019 Oscars.

That movie: Green Book.

An enjoyable movie, but not without backlash. We dive into some of the issues that were expressed on social media in regards to how Green Book tackles racism.

We jump into our phone booth and head back in time to check out Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure!

Good for health, bad for education.

Continuing our trek through yesteryear's vision of 2019, we take a look at Akira, the insanely popular anime.

When a grown man who talks out of his ass dedicates his life to solving crimes of the animal kingdom, you get Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

This Jim Carrey vehicle helped launch him into superstardom, and the film helped form the sick and twisted humor that Devo possesses.

We took this week off, so we thought it would be fun to dig through the archives and find a movie from the past: The Matrix!

The beer was flowing and the spit was swapping! Here are some of the topics we covered:

• Influence of the film on the movie industry
• Influence on society
• How influential is it on people born after it debuted? Do they even know what it is? Does it hold a place in their hearts like Star Wars?
• Where does it rank in terms of the best Sci-Fi franchises of all time?
• Future of the franchise

Hosted by Devo, The Guch and The Clintoris; we take a look back at the amazing neo-future dystopia film The Running Man!

Arnie has to fight for his life in a crazy reality TV style game show.
