Welcome To The Hellmouth

David and Michaela talk about "The I In Team", an episode which truly defies having a good thumbnail. Things start to get pretty wacky in the Inquisition as this whole "Adam" business starts to heat up, and the Commandbros remain just as incompetent as ever. Also on the table to discuss: Tara and how she parts her hair, Buffy's incredibly questionable fashion choices and a very unkind picture we managed to get of Riley caught in the act.

Michaela and David have some fun with "A New Man", the midlife-crisis-iest Buffy episode around! Our favourite scamp is back in town, and his name rhymes with Blethan Blayne. Also on the docket for this week: shiny shirts, the validity of "fishwife" as an insult, monologues and when not to do them, Spike's chemistry with literally everyone.

David and Michaela chat about "Doomed", a.k.a. "the post-Hush crash". Crazy fashion abounds in this one and we even catch a glimpse of the totally-not-destroyed statue which to this day houses Amy's mom! Boy, if she wasn't crazy before she sure is now!

Michaela and David have FINALLY MADE IT TO "HUSH" and gosh are they excited. Listen hard and you'll hear them talk about all sorts of stuff like the buttons they're watching to the shoulders best left uncovered and even the fakest of fake stun guns. Turns out Dave's memory has done it again and forgotten several of the most important parts of this episode, but that's what makes the rewatch all the more fun!

David and Michaela get into a tizzy over "Something Blue". It's wacky magic fun times in the Sunny-D, and everyone's wearing their silliest outfits and most insane hair to celebrate! Honestly, Buffy has done something pretty unprecedented with her hair and the rest of the cast also makes some questionable decisions. Riley continues to delight us with his inability to do up his goddamn buttons and a good time is had by all.

Michaela and David talk about "Pangs", which for some reason David thinks is called "Purges". Immortalized by the line "his penis got diseases from a Chumash tribe", Pangs holds more in store for our hosts such as the unexpected return of Asian Joe (not our name for him)! There's also plenty of absolutely BONKERS fashion from pretty much minute one, topped by whatever the hell Anya has going on.
