All of this and more is covered in the Season 2 premiere episode of "Welcome to the Neighborhood Streets," where I talk about the work that I do on a daily basis and think about the ethics of the marketing that I'm a part of at my job. In this episode, things get a bit more emotionally personal as I talk about my journey through social anxiety and how I learned to accept the true value that I have. My hope is that this episode would be encouraging to those who have also had issues with social anxiety or accepting themselves, because if I'm able to move forward in strength from this, then I know that you can too. And don't worry – even though this episode is a touch more serious, it's still got the little quirks and corny jokes that makes the Neighborhood Streets the show that it is.

It's time for the stories of the neighborhood hussles!! As a kid, you can't get jobs because of something called labor laws I guess? Weird. But thankfully, no laws could stop me and my neighborhood friends from getting on the grind in order to make some quick cash for the frequent mall trips we would make while our parents ran errands. I'm talking snow shoveling, raking leaves, trying to get famous on Vine – the standard stuff. These trips to the mall would always be about hitting up specific shops, and I remember that there was an NES controller snapback in Hot Topic. My 12-year-old self was DETERMINED to get that snapback. The question is: Will we come up with an idea to make the money for it?

Okay, this show is about finding color in the grey areas, but I have to share this story sooner than later. My senior prom was an emotional euphoria of sorts, because everything in my school life was practically perfect at the time. I had gotten two free trips (which were basically vacations) with a school club, I was about to graduate high school, and I was going to prom just three days after the second free vacation with the best person I could've ever gone with. Join me as I recount my night spent with the Star of Stars, and learn about how prom can be all fun without the stress. Trust me, prom is a night made to be fun, so let's make the night fun again without all of the stress and worry.

Over my short life, I've come to learn that I am a perfectionist, for better or (more frequently) for worse. For the most part, this has just caused me to work on stuff more last minute and be a lot more critical of what quality I'm okay with submitting for assignments or projects. However, this perfectionist mindset can sometimes cause... issues. Like, staying-up-until-9am-to-submit-a-speech-I-started-at-midnight issues. Join me as I recount one of the most difficult experiences I've ever had as a public speaker, all because I was being my own worst enemy (having to wear a full three-piece suit for most of the night on 0 hours of sleep certainly didn't help morale either).

How far are you willing to go to help out your best friend? Is it possible for someone to eat six meals in one night without getting sick? Why does Preston hate grilled chicken biscuits? For the first story on Welcome to the Neighborhood Streets, Preston recounts the story of The Homewringer: A Waffle House extravaganza, where he and his friends had to eat at six different Waffle Houses in one night while trying not to get sick. To make matters more intense, his best friend Sam was documenting the Homewringer experience for one of the biggest projects in his advanced film class, so the pressure was on. Will we power through the urban legend and come out triumphant, or will we all be collectively throwing up in the bushes outside of the second Waffle House of the night? Find out in The Homewringer!

In the very first episode of Welcome to the Neighborhood Streets, Preston introduces us to his magical world of the neighborhood streets, where the streetlights are your curfew, Razor scooters are the coolest thing to own, and the worries of the world can never hurt you... but falling off your bike still can. Join Preston as he journeys through all of the nuances of this Wild West for kids, and shows how the magic of the neighborhood streets is never actually lost from us, but can be found in every part of our lives.

If you feel like life has become grey since you've gotten older and left the neighborhood streets behind, take heart in the fact that life doesn't actually become grey – the color of life just has to be found in a different way from when we were younger. To start this quest of rediscovering color, I will be chronicling my own stories of my life thus far, showcasing the color in everything from some of my most extravagant adventures, all the way down to how I used too much Axe body spray in 7th grade. Every life experience has color, and I want to show you that through my life so that you can learn how to see it in your own.
