In this episode, Preston recounts the time when he walked into one of the biggest battles of his childhood life: The Neighborhood Nerf War. But there's one problem with this war of ours, because there wasn't an opposing side that existed. Regardless of the lie, I still look back on this as a very fun moment from when I was younger. Join me as I discuss this fantasy of a war, how I got roped into it in the first place, and how the legendary Battle on the Hill didn't end up being quite as invigorating as my childhood self was expecting it to be.

Welcome to Storytelling From the Neighborhood Streets! In college, I've been learning a lot about the art of storytelling and the impact it can have on someone. I personally believe that storytelling is one of the biggest ways for us, as humans, to connect with each other, so I created this show as an opportunity for me to tell some of the stories in my life.

This first episode is an introduction of who I am and some of the reasons why I started this show. I also talk about two of my closest childhood friends, Jack and Zoe, who you'll hear come up as characters in future stories as well.
