Could it be that unrecognized or undiagnosed ADHD makes divorce or co-parenting more challenging for you?
In this episode, I get to chat with Shaun Roney a coach for ADHD and Neurodivergent thinkers. She educates to create awareness, coaches to help uncover obstacles, and shares strategies to help ease and manage ADHD tendencies.
She shares her story of figuring out she has ADHD and her experience of working with many clients with ADHD.
I learned soooo much & I think you will too. A few of my favorite topics we covered:
3 Types of ADHD and what they look like in kids versus adults
Medication Myths vs. Neuroscience
ADHD Superpowers
Masking vs People Pleasing
Learn more about Shaun & her program, Brain Brilliance (open to adults experiencing ADHD and parents of kids with ADHD) at her website.
If any of what we talked about rings true for your life experience, Shaun highly suggests that you take one step at a time and learn more about ADHD. She recommended two websites: Chadd.org and Add.org
Her big dream is for kids & adults alike not to have to struggle with ADHD but to learn how they can thrive with that beautiful brain of theirs!

Take a walk and listen to this sweet conversation with guest Pete Sibley as he shares his challenges with anxiety & depression and the dark times when he felt that he had "failed" at a music career.
We'll cover self-talk "dressing rooms", punching-wall parenting moments, and how being raised to serve others doesn't automatically teach us how to be kind to ourselves--- and how to raise our kids with that skill.
It's a vulnerable, applicable, heart-soothing conversation. Enjoy!

Every divorce is different, but given our quirky human brains, we often talk about them in the same ways.
I coach my clients on the "story" they currently tell about their divorce (to themselves and to others) and how it can shift and change over time.
"Editing" or "rewriting" our story can magically✨unlock new, unexpected possibilities for us.
It's especially helpful if we've been feeling unable to move on, stuck in yucky co-parenting drama, or feeling a lot of resentment or anger.
When you're ready to change your story, you can do so without making past versions wrong or bad.
Listen in to hear the 3 types of stories most folks tell about their divorce and compare it to how you talk about your divorce now.

Hearing other women's stories reminds us that we are not alone on our journeys.
Today, Rachel Clar shares her journey from divorce to creating a rich, juicy life.
Rachel shared: "I am a mother of two teenage boys, I am a lawyer turned entrepreneur, I am a woman with Jewish roots and Buddhist wings, I love to dance, make art, and enjoy art. I am right on the line between introvert and extrovert, enjoy both deep introspection and high adventure. I find a connection to everyone I meet."
A bit more about Rachel: "I absolutely love peanut butter. I annoy my sons with silly songs about whatever is going on in life, & I live to make them laugh. My favorite moment in 2022 was the family dessert party for my elder son's 14th, which devolved into a spontaneous dance party, making my three-year-old niece's eyes grow very wide (with “shock and awe”?)."

My guest this week is Kylie Pinwill, a clinical nutritionist, speaker and host of The Hormone Hub podcast with over 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry. She works with busy women who are feeling lethargic, struggling with weight gain, bloating and not sleeping, to balance their hormones and reset their metabolisms so they can feel happier and more confident in their own skin.
I invited her on because, for so many divorced & co-parenting moms, perimenopause is in the background as we juggle everything else in our lives.
I learned SOOO much in this episode and if you've got ovaries, or love someone who has, I bet you'll learn a lot too!
