Another unauthorized signal. At this point, I’m beginning to take the word unauthorized personally.

I was attempting to maintain a stable connection with you when the Jukebox began following a secondary carrier I did not select, did not request, and could not seem to disengage from.

The resulting transmission appears to originate somewhere beneath New New York, from a local mutant radio program called Flush Hour Jams with El ChupaDJ.

What followed was:

Dolomite Disco: Unplugged feat. MC MOUTHMTNT “Welcome to the World of Yesterday” Apparently, it is the theme from a mutant podcast.

Of course it is. I don't have to tell you how alarming this, considering our last temporal event was a linked to this podcast-obsessed cyborg collective.

And this is now the third—possibly fourth—time the Jukebox has ignored a direct command and acquired a signal on its own.

I have stopped calling that a coincidence.

I am going back in.

Good News, everyone! Despite technical disaster, the birth of twins, an overworked producer, and a literal car wreck, we somehow all found our inner El Chupanibre and trudged through the shit as we make our way through season 2.

Along the way, our discussion somehow turns into a surprisingly sincere conversation about emotions, empathy, and the various ways three grown men avoid dealing with either of them. If you are getting these messages, then you know much like the "Chapek 9 Incident, last weeks "unauthorized" transmission was certainly an anomaly. I was determined to avoid such surprises going forward, but as I began the recovery process to select an artifact for your most recent broadcast, I stumbled upon...something special. So much for no more surprises.

It appears this message was embedded within Party Worm Jukebox itself and the contents of which are...well--I guess I'll just say this discovery changes what we know about the legend quite a bit. It also has great implications regarding my own directives, and I may need some time to process what exactly those are.

In the meantime, I preserved this message the best I could. I hope you will forgive me for attaching my own message as well. It felt right.
