How do you know if someone likes you back? And if you do end up together, how do you know you're ready for a relationship? This week we're breaking down what a healthy relationship actually looks like: being intentional, respecting boundaries, and checking in on each other. We talk about nonchalant culture, the red flags you miss when you rush into things, anxious vs. avoidant attachment, and why no person is ever going to fill a void for you. Ashlyn shares what she learned from her first relationship at 15, and we both get honest about rejection and how to actually get over someone. Plus, we finally explain what a beige flag is.
This is Part 1, so stay tuned for Part 2.

Ash and Kens are officially adults, and nobody hands you a manual for it. Moving out, starting over, not knowing what you're doing. They're figuring it out as they go. Ash talks about her healing journey falling apart this year and realizing she had to heal again, and the night of graduation when she realized she spent all of senior year caring about people who weren't worth her time. Kens talks about growing up homeschooled while working in an adult industry, and how hearing no three times a week taught her to be okay with never knowing why. They also get into discipline, detachment, responding instead of reacting, keeping your circle small, and living in the present. Topics covered include adulting advice, how to be an adult, moving out, leaving home for college, boundaries, starting over, and handling rejection. You can start over as many times as you need to. What's the hardest part about growing up for you? Tell us.

Freshman year advice nobody actually gives you: safety, roommates, loneliness, and the financial paperwork avalanche nobody warns you about. In Part 2 of our Back To School series, Ashlyn and Kensington get real about walking alone at night, making friends without oversharing, joining clubs, respecting your roommate's space, asking for accommodations, and surviving the loan/tax/scholarship paperwork before move-in. Plus: Bruce makes an appearance (obviously). If you're anxious about freshman year of college, this one's for you. Let's Feel Better!!

Shoutout to our Teen Advisory Board member, Chloe, for the idea behind this episode!
Ashlyn didn't have a perfect college application process. She applied under the wrong major, missed early action deadlines, and wrote her college essay about something no one would have expected. She still got into most of the schools she applied to, with over a 95 percent acceptance rate.
In this episode, we talk through what actually made the difference. The essay that helped her stand out and the major strategy that shifted her chances. We also get into the extracurriculars and community service that showed who she really was beyond just grades and test scores.
But this conversation isn't just about getting into college. It's about everything that comes with it. The pressure, the stress, the moments where things don't go how you planned. Ashlyn opens up about facing rejection, staying grounded, and learning not to tie her self-worth to college decisions.
If you're a junior or going into your senior year, this episode is for you. Real advice, real mistakes, and a real look at what this process actually feels like.
What part of the college application process feels the most overwhelming right now?

Please welcome our guest Sophia on this special episode. She has carried a weight since she was a kid, and she’s finally putting it down.
She came out at 16 after growing up in a traditional household where nobody was like her, and years of pretending, hiding, and censoring herself wrecked her mental health.
This episode is real and honest and covers things that do not get talked about enough, including what internalized homophobia actually means, biphobia inside the LGBTQ+ community, how to be a real ally, and what it feels like when someone you love makes your coming out about themselves.
Lead with love. This one is for everyone.
Happy Pride Month.

Kensington burned herself out this year. And she's telling you everything.
If you keep telling yourself that working harder is the answer, that saying yes to everything is just who you are, or that rest is something you have to earn, this episode is for you.
She gets into what burnout actually feels like, how she got out of it, and what she would have done differently. She also gets into the five things that actually helped when she couldn't get up.
Topics covered include teen burnout, academic burnout, how to recover from burnout, the perfectionist mindset, passive vs active rest, the power of saying no, how to reset your routine, your non-negotiables list, and why rest is one of the most productive things you can do.
Your worth is not defined by how hard you work. Remember that.
What does burnout actually feel like for you?
