The only thing consistent with this episode is our unpreparedness, if I'm being honest. We recorded this three days later than usual and life pushed the release back a day. So happy October 13th (spookier dates are cooler for releases anyway, right?). This is an attempt at Harry Potter themed "Would You Rather...?", however, mostly it's tangents and there is a nice 20 minutes of political shit. Moved some things around to get as much "spooky" content into October as we possibly can! Gods & Goddesses Series takes us to Egyptian mythology and while that's not really spooky, it's said pretty early on the mummification tied into their mythology gives us Halloween vibes. We go over more than just Anubis, but not nearly as many as there are since Egyptian mythology consists of over a hundred major and minor gods and goddesses. Happy Spooktober! 🖤

We get pretty personal with Danielle, interrupted by Ophelia's need for constant kisses and puppy excitement at being allowed to stay out during recording, and Kaylee feeling weird about having a daughter in school now. Originally planned for this to be all things Greek mythology (god and goddess wise), but Hades won and we went to the Underworld instead. Some of the less talked about in Greek mythology as far as gods and goddesses go, but also some of our favorites! Plus a bunch of random shit because we weren't just absent from you for a week, but from each other for actually two weeks. It starts a little weird, but we get and stay on topic eventually! 💙🖤

The plan was Anastasia and then we got sucked into a time vortex and we do still touch on Anastasia, but mostly the animated film 😅 This has been a horrible tribute episode and Anastasia deserved better, in real life and with this podcast. It's Britney Bitch! We start this episode talking about Jamie Spears being a piece of shit; we end this episode, still thinking he's a piece of shit, but so fucking excited that he STEPPED THE FUCK DOWN!!!! We saw the news as we were just about to stop recording and it was fate (I think) that this happened the day we recorded our #FreeBritney episode! We left feeling happy and so fucking excited for this huge win for Britney!! Now just end the entire conservatorship all together and our girl will be completely free. But until then we celebrate this win for Britney and wish her nothing, but peace, love, happiness and of course FREEDOM! Love you to the moon, Britney!
