It's a bit of a bonus type episode. Our regular episode will be uploaded next week, but we didn't want you to go episode-less, so I took the opportunity to speak to my Brother-in-law, also a Dan (Thanks Dan!!!) about Tin Cup.

Dan is a sports guy and brings a different take on the movie and I can't thank him enough.

A movie about a cooking rat? How could that possibly be any good? Leave it to Pixar to find a way. We dusted off Ratatouille and in an episode too long in the making (my apologies), we take a look at the computer animated film that made us all believe Pixar can do just about anything they want and we will watch it.

Where will it end up on our shelves? When was it raining in LA? How does a rat learn to remote control a human? Is Linguine's father's name Alfredo?? (Yes, yes it is) we anser all of those questions and more.

Captain Deadpool, Virtuous Hero of the Weak, Defender of Those with no Defense, Stupendous Savior of the Citizenry.... Or a super fast healing Merc with a Mouth searching for Francis.  

Deadpool strikes a chord with America and became the first R rated movie to make nearly $1 billion dollars, in February, on Valentine's Day, while attempting to bill itself as a romatinc comedy (which it totally is).

Making deep cuts into the Marvel pantheon of protectors, this movie brings Wade Wilson, knock off of Slade Wilson (or is it cousin? I always forget.) and his tiny feet (that's a deep cut too), Colossus, and NegaSonic Teenage Warhead to the big screen in a lovingly crafted homage to Deadpool.

In 2009, the 6th movie in the Harry Potter franchise was released. That was ten years ago and it still feels like last year. 

We jump head-first into the middle of that story and try not to get into too many details about the movies that come after it, or the ones that came before. It's a neat trick, and if you figure out how to do it, let us know.

Alan Rickman is in this movie, in case you weren't aware. And he's pretty good.

Billed as a romance, Bambi first appeared in theaters in 1942. 76 years later, we dust it off and give it a watch.

It's the only movie that really made sense to do for this episode, so we fired up the Infinite Improbability Drive to defy the odds and just picked it ourselves. But we did see a lovely bowl of petunias. Very sad.

Swords, giant snakes, James Earl Jones, cults, and plentyof blood and practical effects. It's not the first fantasy movie in a magical age, but it's definitely one that spawned sequels and a reboot. happily we only talk about the reboot for a minute (You're welcome :) ).
