Here's a question worth sitting with: when's the last time you were genuinely amazed by God?

I watch kids stop in their tracks over my Cybertruck — Mr. Squiggle, as I call it — and I think: that's the wonder we're supposed to carry toward our Creator. If you've lost that sense of wonder, it's not a small thing. It usually means you've stopped growing.

A truth I keep returning to: even the life to come isn't the final reward. God hasn't distributed that yet. Whatever He has prepared is “great to great,” adventures without a ceiling.

So here's where I'd challenge you: check your devotional life before you diagnose your faith as boring. And build real faith, not what the world calls “fate.” Faith comes by hearing — which means what you feed your mind is quietly deciding what you believe.

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life.” — Deuteronomy 30:19

Our Artificial Coverings Began with Adam's Dying Fig Leaves

Before sin, Adam had no need for a house — no storms, no lightning, no scorching sun to escape. There was no shame, because there was nothing to hide. Every "need" we chase today — a house, a tan, a job, a car — is a substitute for something Eden never lacked.

When Adam sinned, shame entered, and he reached for fig leaves. But those leaves were pulled from the root — already dying. That's the picture: an artificial covering for a hypocrite's shame, and it's been mankind's pattern ever since. Everything after Genesis 3 is redemptive — grace-filled, but never what was originally intended.

The good news? In Christ, we become a new creation — good by nature again, not by performance.

We also look at the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16) — a sobering reminder that what God provides in this life is what we carry into eternity. No crossing over, no second chance. So tonight is about seeing past the substitutes to the real thing God always intended for us.

Jesus Is the Foundation of America.

As we mark 250 years as a nation this week, this is a message we need to hear: America's rise isn't something we built on our own — it's something God did.

Other nations can brag about being older. China, Russia, ancient empires — sure, they came first. But in only a few hundred years, God made this country a dominant force on earth. Not because we're subject to any government or fear any enemy, but because we're subject only to God.

Certainly, we face threats from people who hate us. But the answer isn't fear. It's surrender.

Give the country back to God from the leadership on down, get into the Word, pray, and do good. That's how a nation's desolations get restored.

And to anyone ready to give up on America — look around the world first. This is the country millions still risk everything to reach, not leave. Why? Because Jesus is the foundation of it.

You already have eternal life — now live like it.

From Genesis to the words of Jesus, the Bible lays out a truth that will change how you see everything — your marriage, your character, your purpose, and your future.

Life is more than what you can get from God. Life is about becoming like Him.

The goal of the Christian life is not just to believe God for finances, a job, or a breakthrough. The goal is the character of Christ. You were God's idea. He brought you into this world, so your life should reflect His priority — not a denomination, not a religious subculture, but the living Christ.

The Bible isn't about denominations. It's about the God that created them and His Son who redeemed them.

The destination? Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Adam's failure — and ours. Genesis 3 identifies the root of humanity's problem. Adam did not stand up to the serpent. He did not stand up to face God. He handed over the authority he had been given. When God confronted Adam, Adam responded with three nonsensical statements: "I heard you... I hid... I was naked." And God cut right through it: "Who told you that you were naked?"

From that point on, humanity lived below its created purpose.

Eternity Training: Live from the next world now. The seed of eternal life is planted in you when you are born again. Right now, today, you are already living in the realm where God exists.

In Luke 20:34–36, Jesus said the redeemed will neither marry nor be given in marriage. They will never die again. They will be like the angels — children of God and children of the resurrection.

You will never die again. You can't be killed.

This isn't just future hope. This is present reality. Jesus, raised from the dead, brings us into His eternal realm — the realm we are going to and the realm we are living from right now.

You and I have to live out of that world now.

Transparent before men. Ready before God.

Cut through the noise of politics, religion, and cultural confusion and deliver one urgent truth: The world doesn't need more performers — it needs transformed people.

We live in a time when politicians promise truth but deliver deception. When people claim faith but live in pride. When young people talk about leaving the country without understanding the sacrifices that were made before them — the marches, the lynchings, the dogs, the segregation. Those who endured real suffering didn't run. They stood.

But here's the deeper issue: None of it gets fixed without God at the center.

Revival isn't just a church event where people shout and feel good. Revival is a redemptive work — it transforms how you live Monday through Saturday. If Jesus is not enthroned in the center of your life, your world will never reflect the Kingdom of Heaven.

Be transparent. Stop hiding behind pride. You can't hide from God, so why pretend before people? Stand before others the way you'll have to stand before Him one day. Be real. Be honest. Be who He called you to be.

You are ordained — not by a building, but by God Himself. Whether you're a trucker, a woman getting your nails done, or standing in the grocery store — you carry the Gospel. Jesus died so that the Father's purpose would live inside of you. No miracle, no sign, no wonder can replace what happens when God makes Himself known in your heart.

Remember Adam? God called out, "Where are you?" — not to punish him, but to reconcile him. That's the same voice calling you today. Don't hide. Don't run. Stand up.

Your life is not about comfort. It's about expanding in the things of God. You are called. You are summoned. Don't want to leave this earth until the will of God is fulfilled in your life — until He has shaped you into the image of Jesus.

This Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached as a witness to the whole world. And it starts with you—living it.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”— Matthew 24:14 (NKJV)

Every challenge we face in life traces back to what the Bible calls the Fall — that moment in Genesis 3 when Adam disobeyed God and the whole trajectory of human life shifted. Sin, sickness, lack, even the need for a sound mind — none of that was in the original design. It all came through Adam's failure. And because of that, everything since then has needed redemption.

That's where the Redeemer comes in. Jesus didn't just show up to save us from hell — though He certainly did that. He's the one who restores what the Fall broke. He heals because Adam fell. Prosperity is needed because Adam fell. He saves us from accidents, from difficult people, and preserves our lives so we can fulfill our divine purpose. That's what redemption is — God buying back and restoring what was lost.

But here's the deeper point: we can't just know this as information. The key distinction drawn in this message is between living by the letter of the law versus letting God's Word become alive in us. We're called to live by conscience, following the law of God from the inward man — not just quoting Scripture, but letting it become real and active in our lives. As 1 Peter 3 says, it's not about the outward appearance, but "the hidden man of the heart, which in the sight of God" is what matters. This is the spiritual reality God wants us engaged in.

Whether we're students, attorneys, professors, or intercessors, our earthly learning and callings are connected to eternity. Just as a law student must internalize what they've studied to pass the bar exam, we must internalize God's Word — not as dead letters, but as living truth.

The bottom line: everything after Genesis 3 points to our need for a Savior — and that Savior has made Himself known to us.

This world is temporary — but how we live in it matters eternally. The story of Adam and his wife in the Garden reveals something significant about responsibility, purpose, and God's original design. Before the Fall, there was no death, no confusion, no separation from God. Adam was made to be the steward of the whole earth, carrying a vision given to him directly by the Creator.

When you’re the real thing God will give you the run of the house.

Are you the real thing? That question changed everything at a Promise Keepers conference. A security guard, a no-nonsense, bona fide redneck, watched me shake hands, kiss babies, and hang around with the audience long after the other speakers had gone. Then he looked me seriously and said:

"You're the real thing, ain't you?"

He said, “I’ve never seen the real thing before.” And because he saw something genuine, he made some calls. Next thing I know, I'm riding in a sheriff's car to Augusta National for the Masters. I walk in and ask where I can go. The man says:

"You've got the run of the house. Go anywhere you like."

Then it hit me. That’s a message:

When you're the real thing, God gives you the run of the house.

No area is off-limits. The earth is the Lord's and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). God owns the church AND the state. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 6:19), so wherever you walk, Jesus walks in.
