Welp, That Sucked

The guys spend some time discussing GamerGate, competitive gaming and e-sports,

and the beautifully animated but mediocrely written new animated film, The Book of Life.

The only good deed is avoiding this movie. The guys sit down to review No Good Deed, the latest in a long list of movies that wastes it's talented cast on a terrible script and mediocre direction. We discuss the aspects that make this movie one of the worst of the year (a common label we give to most of the movies we review),

from the inane dialogue, the character's questionable motives, and Screen Gem's horrible attempt at promoting a "twist" that wasn't really that much of a twist at all.

We also spend some time discussing Under the Skin and why it is one of the best, not the worst, movies of 2014.

We spend a little bit of time playing catch up as we discuss some recent and not-so-recent releases followed by our review of Divergent,

a movie so deceivingly bad it defies all reason and even sends Mike into a spiraling hole of depression.

Every once and awhile a movie comes along that can only be describer as complete garbage.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For fits that description and then some. Ryan and Mike spend some time

discussing what makes the 9-years-too-late-sequel so terrible, from the awful writing to the mundane acting.

Normally you associate good things with the word "Sabotage" because the first thing that comes to mind, for us anyway, is the classic Beastie Boys song.

Unfortunately for us, however, episode 35 has less to do with excellent music and more to do with the horrible, gratuitously violent action movie of the same name.

We discuss Arnold's latest attempt at staying relevant as well as the violence and terribly written story.

not only see one of the worst movies of the year, but also witness childhood's being crushed and fanboys sobbing into their sweatshirts.
