Wenatchee First Assembly

Today, we conclude our journey through the Book of Joshua. In chapter 24, Joshua makes his final address to the Israelites. His challenge to the nation before him, also speaks to us today.

In our second-to-last message on the Book of Joshua today, our attention turns to Caleb. There are some important life lessons we can learn from his faith and attitude.

Today we celebrate new life in Jesus with 6 individuals who will be baptized. Pastor Dan is sharing a short message entitled “Born Again Into New Life”, discussing the miracle of transformation we have through water baptism.

Today, we are taking a "bird's-eye view" of chapters 13-19 of Joshua. Despite God’s continual faithfulness, the Israelites struggled with disobedience and complacency, much like we do today. These chapters offer critical lessons about trusting in God's promises and not resting on past victories.

This week, Joshua and the Israelites finish their conquest of the land, which will lead them into a season of rest from their struggles. God wants us to find rest from our battles as well. Today we will discover how in Joshua chapter 11.

Today, we continue our series on the Book of Joshua. Chapter nine is full of unexpected surprises throughout the story. But in the end, we once again see the goodness and grace of God.

Today, we are celebrating Father's Day and diving into Matthew 15 with our guest speaker, Ernie Salinas.

Today, as we honor graduating seniors, we will dig into Proverbs and see how God is always with us through every step of life.

In chapter 8, Joshua is discouraged and overwhelmed, still feeling the weight of Israel's recent defeat at Ai.  Then God says, "Do not be afraid or discouraged." He then sends Joshua right back to the same city where they failed before. Same battle, same enemy, but this time there's a different outcome.

After a supernatural victory at Jericho, Israel was defeated in their next military battle. God's people weren't defeated by a public enemy;  they were defeated by a secret enemy within. Joshua chapter 7 reveals compromise of the heart and how we can avoid the devastation it brings.
