David and Jonathan from the UHF 62nd podcast drop by and debate with Steve over the value of Let Me Be Your Hog, a song we didn’t deem worthy of even including in our original season.

Steve and Charlie get a chance to talk to Jeff Swampy Marsh and Dan Povenmire the creators of Milo Murphy’s Law (as well as Phineas and Ferb and who also worked on Rock’s Modern Life and the Simpsons).

We talk about how they met, their influences, their favorite songs, how Al got cast as Milo, and much more. They also reveal and Easter Egg about Milo Murhpy’s Law episodes which neither of us had ever noticed! Two fun guys who have created two very positive kid’s shows, which aren’t just for kids.

Polly Esther, the writer and star of one woman shows Dammit, Jim! I’m a Comedienne, Not a Doctor!; Weird Al Saved My Life, and Pollywood is back to debate CNR with us. We had a lot of fun making this one, hopefully you enjoy it too.

Steve and Charlie are back for season 2! This season will feature debates that we have with ourselves as well as fans over various things (plus a few surprises). Insane Ian from the FUMP drops in to add a respectable and knowledgeable musician’s opinion.

Hiatus Episode 2-

We talk to Insane Ian from the theFuMP.com about the upcoming FuMPfest in Chicago. The show is August 9th thru the 11th and includes lots of funny music performers and events. This year’s headliners are The Doubleclicks, a band we really enjoy who have done songs like “Cats at Parties” “Tabletop” “Wonder” and “Clever Girl”.

We’re taking a break from our break to come to you with two reviews of two different tours we saw recently.

First, Pollywood, the one woman show by Polly Ester we saw at the Orlando Fringe Festival. We bring long time pod friend Polly on to talk about it.

Then second, we talk about the Strings Attached tour we saw at Hard Rock Live in Orlando on June 10th, 2019 with past guest Kim. Warning, we go into details about the concert so it might be spoilery for some fans.

Steve took the time to tabulate the entire podcast’s worth of ratings for each song and then used a computer to spit out the results and averages. On this short podcast we talk about the results, find out our most and least liked songs and albums. What are yours?

We finish up the season with Al’s longest song ever, Albuquerque from Running with Scissors. This song is a style parody of Dick’s Automotive by the Rugburns. Make sure to check that song out, as long as the kids aren’t around.

Nathan joined us to talk about Albuquerque and to talk about his latest book The Weird Accordion to Al at his kickstarter. The kickstarter ends on April 18th 2019, and has already met it’s initial pledge needs!

Well, what do we say about this one. We try to stay on the topic of the original song and Al’s parody, and we do a pretty good job. Wait til the end for a special surprise.
