Melva Henderson, the mastermind behind the 501(c)(3) 'Living Beyond Limits,' has made it her mission to empower the blind and visually impaired community through education, training, and advocacy. As someone who lost her sight to pseudotumor cerebri, Melva understands the challenges that come with vision loss, and she channels her life experiences to lead an organization that offers mentoring, social networking, and resources to help others live beyond the limitations society may impose.

In this episode, Melva shares with us all the details for the conference all of us are going to be attending October 4-5, 2024, her story of going blind, losing her parents soon after fully losing her vision, the inspiration behind 'Living Beyond Limits,' and founding an organization that advocates for independence and personal growth.
