In this edition of The Flagship, brought to you by Riverland Roofing, Ben Garrett (OMSpirit.com) is joined by former Ole Miss football Rebel Walker Jones, who now heads up the Grove Collective, the leading NIL avenue for Ole Miss athletics.

Jones, in conjunction with Rebel head coach Lane Kiffin and others, is riding an absolute recruiting heater. Ole Miss is bringing back most all of its star players, among them defensive tackle JJ Pegues, who Jones said lit the candle on the recent run of return announcements.

Oh, and the portal opened earlier this month. Ole Miss has already secured three transfers, but as Jones explained, the Rebels are far from done. Florida EDGE Princely Umanmielen, for example, has been on an official visit to Ole Miss this week. He was the Gators’ highest-graded defender and sack leader last season.

Sources indicate the Rebels are the favorite to land him.
