In Mark 11:11-26, Jesus reveals profound truths about faith, fruitfulness, and forgiveness.
As we reflect on His actions and teachings → as we see the parallels of what Jesus said, and what He did…may we be encouraged to deepen our faith, live fruitful lives, and embrace the transformative power of forgiveness.
Let us truly consider the importance of genuine faith that produces spiritual fruit, coupled with a heart of forgiveness.
And as both Jesus’ actions and words emphasize → let us know that true faith should be active and transformative, leading to visible signs of spiritual growth and loving grace poured out in our lives.
Let our impact not be limited to words we say, or actions we live out on their own → but let us respond to God’s loving grace in a way that parallels our speech and deeds → so that we live a life worthy of our calling, and demonstrated by Jesus himself.

When we enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ, our natural response is to worship. When we worship, we grow in our faith, and when we grow in our faith we grow in our love for Jesus. The more we learn to love Jesus, the more we, in love, wish to serve Jesus. We cannot truly claim to have faith, to love Jesus if we are not actively serving Jesus. The Bible says: “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead.” (James 2:14, 17)
Jesus has promised us that if we love Him, if we have faith in Him, which means if we trust Him, he will prepare a place for us. And if He prepares a place for us, when he does come back---he will He will take us to be with Him.

You see → Jesus didn’t just come to teach us about Grace, it wasn’t just a talking point for him → it was who he was at his very core - his entire mission was about grace…his words directly connected to his actions.

Dear friend accept the forgiveness offered by the Lord Jesus. Then go and sin no more! This morning, if God has been speaking to you, listen to His voice and submit those stones that you would use to destroy to let Jesus build something beautiful with them. Lay down the stones that you carry, give them to God, and let Him set you free.

What we think we need and want is so small in comparison to what God wants for us. The disciples wanted Jesus’ help bailing out the boat---but the Bible says: “When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence!
Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” (Mark 4:39)
The disciples wanted help with the bailing---Jesus gave them deliverance from the storm. Listen to me friends, the message of the Bible is that God does care about us; in fact, God cares far more about us than we can ever imagine! You
see, when God took on flesh and blood and came to us as Jesus Christ, God in reality chose by His love to get in our boat with us, to enter into our storm, our pain with us---specifically so that He could pilot our boat, so that he could lead us out of our pain.

Jesus is calling you to have strength enough, courage enough to be the one to break the icy silence in the marriage and apologize for your part in the broken relationship. Jesus is calling you to be the big person and pick up the phone and call your parents, your co-worker, your friend---whoever it was that hurt you, and offer grace---the same way that Jesus reached out to you and offered you grace.
